Panda: F "Pandas have absolutely no interest in reproducing. They rarely mate," Lentz says. That goes against the raison d'etre of a species. "We spend all this money flying these animals around the world, trying to convince them to mate, and we could spend it on a lot of other stuff.
"Second of all, they eat bamboo. They're not supposed to eat bamboo. Their bodies are not adapted to digest cellulose, but they hang in there with the bamboo. But the result of that is that they have to eat a ton of bamboo," he says. "They don't have a lot of energy to do things, like to mate.
"That could be Nature kind of hinting around the fact that they should collectively shuffle off this mortal coil."

So what is stopping people from feeding them bamboo? Give them proper food and wait till they are so hungry that they actually start eating it or put some bamboo flavouring on it. Then put a male and a female or two in the same area, put on some panda ****, inject them with viagra(or equivalent panda product) and I'm sure they will get down to business sooner or later. You might even give thought about altering their species a bit, since the current one seems to have fudged itself so badly.

It must feel like an eternity staring into the expressionless face of a panda with those cold black panda eyes gleaming back at you, when you know that it's just going through the options it has for trashing you.
