Was anyone else watching the live streams (Or even lucky enough to be there)? :D
What an awesome show! I thought it couldn't get any better after seeing the Starcraft II matches between Loner & Genius... but then the Tenacious D show just topped it off - I never imagined they could be that awesome live... I've never seen them before.
I know I'm biased - I love Blizzard games & a lot of my favourite people in the world were there... but still... what did everyone else think?

blizzard managed to get 100,000 suckers to pay $40 to watch people talk about a video game on TV. My thoughts: people are stupid. _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

i imagine someone's paying the $40 for you to stream it from which is still thoroughly depressing
anyhow there's evidently a giant ragestorm brewing about blizzards handling of the arena finals, which I'm certain would be totally important if PvP wasn't a hilarious afterthought in their game anyway _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

"Arena" in WoW? Isn't that were you pay some guy $US3000 to grind with your characters for three weeks, fighting the other teams whose players have paid some guy $US3000 to grind their characters for three weeks, so you can all stand around Ironforge with your e-peen showing?
Not cynical, I just know some guy who got paid $US6000 for three weeks work.
I'm guessing someone wants to convince Blizzard that something's broken about arenas, because they don't want to confess that they paid $US3000 for second best on that battlegroup. -- [Aussie players: join ANZAC channel] |

The comedy rock band by Jack Black and that other fat dude. They even made a movie about themselves, "The Pick of Destiny". Tribute.

I loved how basically everyone there was waiting for that song - they're other songs are awesome & the new ones they played at Blizzcon were good too... though nothing will beat Tribute :P
