I'm trying to optimize my planet interaction setup, so I figured I would post a thread here about what I'm currently doing in hopes of getting some useful advice (thanks to anybody that provides useful advice here).
I currently had 3 planets colonized, here is the one I'm currently trying to fix:

I'm pulling Heavy Metals with 4 extractors, and Base Metals with 2 extractors.
Those get dumped into:
3 Basic Processors (Toxic Metals) 2 Basic Processors (Reactive Metals)
Those are then dumped into 3 advanced processors that make Construction Blocks.
I know the number of processors seems to be a little weird, but it works. As you can see, I have almost the same amount of raw material stockpiled.
What seems to be the problem is that I can't process it into P1 material quickly enough to feed to the advanced processors.
I want to get this to the point where it can consistently produce 15 Construction Blocks/hour. Right now it's not, it seems to do about 10/hour on average.
This is setup with a Standard Command Center. Yes I will be upgrading, I already have Comm Center Upgrades 3, but I figure I might as well wait till 4 and just go straight to an Advanced Command Center (which I should be able to to in about 30 hours). Until then, I want to optimize this current setup.
So should I drop a few extractors and add a few basic processors?

Paleontology is the study of dinosaurs and other prehistoric life forms.
Palantology as you wrote it, is the study of French pulleys.
