So if we go with the CSM or CCP idea of plex(RL$) for cosmetic(perhaps Incarna gender change?) but not game changing(skill points for $). where would you see a longer say 96 or 168 hour skill queue?
It would certainly be a convenience. And it would be insurance if something comes up (business, illness, new "friend" ) or goes down (stupid ISP or cheap hard disk) if I had more than a 24 hour window to get something added.
It would not give me a single SP more than you or faster than you; it would have zero effect on any combat. I would just be paying to have spend a little less time to feed EVE Offline. I doubt any character farms would spend the $ on this; avoiding a few extra logins a year would not be worth it.
Yet I suspect it would be an emotional no for many.
Thoughts?

No, I'm not interested in these 'give em an inch' proposals, micro-transactions are a game-breaker.

It is a convenience item, but the only reason they stated of limiting the SQ in the first place was that they wanted to have the players log in. Changing it to a payable service now seems a really ****ty thing to do. I also recall CCP saying they are planning on selling cosmetic items only. Convenience items, even when they don't affect gameplay are something different. In this case the game is specifically left in a less convenient/worse condition, so CCP can sell you the improvements later for money. So definite convenience item, but a really ****ty thing to do to normal subscribers who have requested the same feature. It isn't like normal subsribers are freeloaders not entitled to the best game experience and service CCP can offer, so treating them like 2nd class citizens would cause addition hostility towards CCP.
