Are you a mature person (30+) but a new player to Eve Online? If so then you are most likely here because you like the depth you see in Eve and have the patience to learn the game. However, you realize that the game can be complex to learn. Welcome to Eve!
We are a training corp to get you ready to live successfully in Nullsec. Our goal for the next training Class is 35 members. We feel this is large enough to form good friendships but not so large that you are lost in the crowd.
You will not be required to leave us after your training is complete but we have a large alliance ready for our trained graduates when you are ready to move to the next level. For our Miners / Industrialists, you can live in empire forever but keep the option of moving to Nullsec if you ever get adventurous.
Jolly Codgers is a corporation with the following advantages : òWe help you learn the game mechanics and how to win the ISK war òHave fun and chat with similar mature players (avg. age 37) òôReal life is firstö so no mandatory playing requirements òExperienced players available for you to ask questions and learn about Eve (Many 2006 and earlier Players) òWe have people doing Mining, Industry, Exploration, Worm Hole Diving and PVP. òTraining Sessions on EFT and EveMon to manage character progression òExperienced FCs for our small gang roams òLogistics in place (Orcas, Freighters, JFs, Carriers) òAccess to move into 0.0 when you progress in skill òFamily Friendly TS3 server, forums, Killboard, etc.
Requirements for you:
- Mature Person 30+.
Willing to play and learn the game Teamspeak 3 is mandatory. Family Friendly Required. Willing to be part of a close knit team No Trial Accounts
We are currently hiring people that are interested in Mining or Exploration / PVP. After you skill up then you have the option to move into small scale pvp or graduate to an experienced miner/industrialist. After you graduate, we have a large zero space Alliance that you can choose to transfer into. We train you up for success. Contact or evemail æSupply DemandÆ, æSolaric TrackerÆ or æGabbie TinksÆ via evemail to setup a voice interview or join us on ôJolly Codgersö.

If you made it this far in the post, then give us a look. We do bend the 30 age requirement slightly for parents, or people that understand real life comes first and are understanding if suddenly someone is AFK to look after the kid.

These guys are great! I joined about a month ago, after not having played EVE for some time. Their knowledge of the game is incredible, and they are happy to answer all of my questions.
It's a great place for a 30+ player to get started in EVE! Highly recommended. |

I'm sure I qualify maturity-wise on the age front at 54, you may be even more surprised to hear my Dad also plays and currently pilots either a Megathron or Brutix. I run a couple of accounts and we set up a small self sustaining corp with our main characters about a year ago. We are running up to level 4 missions and I have also developed a half-decent covert ops/scout. I think we may be past the training stage. However, we may be looking to expand our horizons a little in the near future. Not sure if we would want to disband the corp but might be open to joining an alliance (operation areas permitting). My Dad is in on GMT and I am on US West coast time so it can be a challenge hooking up but we usually manage an hour or two of coop missions every couple of days.

I've been hanging out with the Jolly Codgers for about a week now and have been nothing but impressed with the fantastic group of players they've assembled. There is always multiple things going on just about every hour of the day and the advice and training I've recieved in just the short time I've been with them has been invaluable. I highly recommend them as a fantastic place to learn how to play the game and as an outstanding group of players.

Hi Gabbie, once the patch/update is done, will be sure to check in and encourage my Dad do the same. He's an long retired Royal Navy submarine engineering officer so he likes any game that lets him use torps.
