I got a bit EVE'd out but I've come back now. Since my departure you only seem to be able to use 1 AB or MWD at a time.
What's going on and how can I go really fast these days? Or is there no point now?
Thanks,
Alb

Inty, Overdrives, and Microwarp?
oversized AB's still work you just want to go fast in a strait line while having a turning radius the size of earths orbit.

I'm not sure if it already got nerfed, but a corpmate of mine had a battlecruiser set up with a 100mn MWD. That was kind of fast... over 6km/s IIRC -- jamesw Rubra Libertas Militia

fastest you can go is by wapring into another ship, then you accelerate to like 15,000km/s. Can throw you to 100-500 km pretty quick

WOW, I'd be glad if I could bring it over 2km/s
Nice, respect.

I would be more interested in player's best deadspace setup for speed.
Starsi dont make Eve Pilots, but if they did, i wouldnt be one of them. |

A combat ready MWD Stabber can easily achieve +2300m/s. Not bad for a cruiser.

vagabond would go even faster than zealot, but i don't know if it has the cap to sustain 100mn mwd. ____________________________ Waiting to cut out the deadwood. Waiting to clean up the city. Waiting to follow the worms. |

I'd be interested in what the fastest sustained speed is with ship/setup.

Don't forget leadership skill bonuses and speed enhancing implants.

Nanofibers. Give a speed boost almost that of my overdrives but also reduce inertia by a lot, whereas overdrives actually increase inertia thus decreasing acceleration and handling. Also overdrives lower cargo space. Whack a load of named nanofibers in low and see how you handle then. I find it far superior to overdrives.

Named MWDs. Gistii MWD gives 661% Boost (compared to the tech2s 550%) without any skillboni applied. My rifter does 3.900m/s with acceleration control 2, navigation 4 and two nanofiber Is. Not exactly fitted for combat, though.

think vagabond can't fit a 100mn mwd the ship is fast, but it lacks some grid tbh (only bad thing in such a great ship btw.. can't wait to get mi hands on one ) -------------------
