After seeing the talent we have in the community for writing fiction I thought I would give it a try but as I tend to work best in audio format I thought I would submit my humble offering in that form. Its a fairly dark story of around 9 minutes in length and its probably best listened to in a quiet enviroment. I hope you like it.

Thanks to Chribba for giving the story a home.

Listened to it in a quiet environment and... This is really a first-rate story, Dillon. In written form this would top a lot of official chrons, imo. Bit funny to hear you read it though as my mind still equates your voice to 'Podded'.

Graceful stuff, well written and well read.

I've written a second story and have posted it at the top of this thread. I may on occasion post some more until my creativity runs out (it could happen any time).

This is the right way to enjoy short fiction, read with feeling, read by the author - thanks mate!
n.b. I very much admired the style of your first story, and your second audio performance is exceedingly powerful.

Edited by: Dirinan on 03/12/2010 20:15:25 I would have loved stories even if you didn't read them yourself, but the emotion you put into the reading really pulled me in. That was so well written. :)

Very enjoyable, some of the best EVE fiction in some time. The audio format both added emotion, and served to draw my dulled attention amid a sea of meh teir texts.

The first one is amazing, the decriptions, the emotion, even your accent just fit perfectly. I'm downloading the second one now and i'm sure it'll be just as good.

Fine stories, I recommend both of these. I think more audio from other authors on this list would also be admirable. Take note everyone this is the way to go

For mixing the audio i use Audacity which is free and simple to use. Thanks for the positive feedback and as War Childe says all my attention is on season 3 of PODDED podcast but i do have some ideas for future story's.
