I just gotta say, I've been running two clients on my MBP for several hours a day for a couple of weeks now, and it's been very stable. No random discos, no graphic anomalies, no hanging on jumps.
I quit in frustration 7 months ago, and remained unsubbed until about a month ago.
Thanks, CCP, this is what I've been waiting for.

I logged out 2 years ago and now came back yesterday, though I now own a Windows Computer for gaming (gave up on mac for that). But if it indeed is stable now I would not mind running it for on the road on my Mac-book pro. Does the game still run the Mac hot? It used to be unbearable (compared to other games etc.)
Thnx

Since the last couple of patches, it has gotten more reliable crashwise for me. Instead of crashing 1-2 times an hour, it's only 1-2 times a day now. It still ticks me off knowing every crash will cost me a full wing of T2 drones, but it's a little more bearable now.
As far as heat, my MacBook Pro still gets hot enough to keep my coffee and cup o'noodles toasty. Get a cheap coolpad for $30-40 with a USB fan blower on the bottom, you'll be a lot happier playing with it on your lap that way. The f1 key still gets uncomfortably hot to push though, I try not to map any modules there that I have to hover my finger over often.
