[233] All right, let's get *****ing. I'm making an honest, personal observation as I do for lots of videos. My critique is not to be taken personally even if hundreds of hours or ten went into the making of the video (should make this a disclaimer for future critic roles). A film editor can only make so much with the footage he is given. Now shall we start with the good or the bad? Let's go for the "bad". NITPICKING TEXT: It was a bit too small, often it blended into the background so the letters became sort of distorted and hard to get accurate names. Very visible in the "remembering the fallen" sequence. A couple spelling errors here and there, no doubt due to fatigue after slaving away for hours on it. Glory of the Empire? All the other references are about "Curse Alliance" and so this one sentence about the Empire is somewhat confusing. BATTLE FOOTAGE: Dull dull ganks. No battles, no odds of the situations being close. Just straight up ganks. Would have been more impressive to have small forces clashing (5 vs 5? something like that) where the viewer would be left in doubt about the outcome of the battle until the end. NEW STUFF: The glowing map showing the location is very nice but those not familiar with the regions could have used some text appearing showing "Curse" or "Fountain" or similar. PRAISEGIVING Excellent technical work! As shown on the timelines, a lot of dedication and work. NEW STUFF: The Council chamber is a very neat idea. The representation of the EVE map is a nice one. The Clone Remembrance is also a neat idea, remembering the Fallen. Creating a fictional video about an established non-RP-ing corp is very cool and shows everyone that you get more out of this game if you put a little thought and dedication into it. OVERALL A nice video, introducing new techniques for film makers and giving them some ideas. Similar things to the Council chamber have been done in other videos but not of this scale. The Editor does an admirable job of trying to portray dull battle footage in a nicer light. As an introduction to the World of EVE it is very good but the lack of explanation on the map overview may make it seem overwhelming. ¼©¼ a history |

I just got to the end and said, no more, please no more, I just want to be done! Thank you for your comments though, they are always truthful, honest, and always taken into account when I attempt another.  Not to mention extremely unbiased.
