Gutter Press spoke yesterday with a restless capsuleer who related a tale of woe, regarding a ship using a cloaking device.
The unfortunate man normally plys his trade amongst the asteroid belts of the system he calls home, but of late this routine has been disturbed by a female capsuleer who keeps him up all night worrying.
"It's been going on for nearly a month now, and I really can't take it much longer." he said. "The stargate crews reported one day that a cruiser-sized ship jumped in, and none of them have reported that ship jumping out. It is still somewhere in system. And not docked either."
He went on to state this was interfering with his work. "I can't concentrate on my work, not with her watching, and I know she's watching, I can feel it. And it's not just unease, I know it. This one time, she sent me a message saying 'I like your ship' and she knew the name and class I was flying."
"It goes even further. Normally I rent apartments on the outside of the station, so that I can gaze out and think about things. But I've stopped doing that now, after she sent me another message saying she liked the way I decorated my apartment. The only things that see the inside of that apartment were the cleaning drones! She must have been outside the window, spying!"
This has all led to great stress and discomfort for the unfortunate capsuleer, and he has called upon CONCORD to assist.
"This sort of thing is too much for any man to take. Something has to be done to combat this menacing behaviour. It shouldn't be allowed."
Gutter Press asked the female capsuleer for her opinion on this matter, and if they knew how much stress they were causing, they only replied "I like to watch".

They?
Singular they is widespread usage, debate continues amongst the language professors at the University of Caille about how acceptable it is.
And you know, there are things said about those professors.

I can confirm that despite using a cloaking device the woman in question is not in fact a member of Ushra'Khan.

Curtains can be seen through with the right equipment. Armor plating would be a far superior investment.

Hm. Cruiser, presumably a covops cloak....
Yes, I'd call an unidentified force recon a good reason for a solo pilot to get paranoid. Peeping at windows, though? ... I've never been able to get that kind of performance out of my own camera drones. Perhaps she's got a modified set?

Ms. Callibri, but you seem a bit ... what's the word ... obsessive.
Noisily obsessive, like a vengeful ghost armed with a loudspeaker.
Are you trying to bring your sister down by yelling to all the rest of us how she abandoned you to the Nation's tender mercies? That seems like something more between the two of you than fit matter for the rest of us, and even if it weren't, I'm not sure we make a very good audience.
We're sort of a tough crowd.

Edited by: Mad Murgan on 11/11/2010 21:17:36 Sounds like the man in question has an obsessed fan-girl to me. But hey what would I know, I'm not exactly sane or sober. My advice to the stalkee...get her contact info...you never know, life's too short.
Thanks for the amusement Muck Racker...you know how to spice up my day.
Sanity is relative.
