So I was slightly curious regarding the state of Serpentis Corporation.
There hasn't been any news or anything on them for almost two years now, and they're a fairly major power in their own right, they stole a titan and took over ORE (Even if they do contract the Angel Cartel out for a good deal of stuff).
So I was wondering if this silence was intentional, or have the CCP writers and co had forgotten about them entirely.

they're Gallentean pirates, given the state of the Gallente faction as a whole what makes you think CCP give a damn?

They are still very much relevent and important to a lot that is occuring. It may not be in bold and obvious.. but the links to the Serps is evident in many things that have and currently occur.

I fail to see these. Was hoping Liberty Pill might be something when all that happened, but apparently not. Mind pointing some out? ---

Perhaps it is just me.. but I see quite a strong 'connect the dot' chain of events sequence. Boosters + mental effects.. clone breach and immediate brain scan, binary-data stream transfer through space from pod to vat (drones talk how?).. Political ties to Gallente Federation, Gallente ties to Creodron.. SoE Mother is.. Ties to Syndicate.. Ties to Ishukone.. Crielere incident.. Ties to Guristas.. Ties to Angels.. Just to get things started. And all these can draw a line directly tooooooo..
Serpentis. The scariest monster sometimes is the one you don't see as it lurks in the shadow, and you know it's there, and you know it's looking right at us capsuleers.. but we don't see it.

Correct. And your point is...?

Not entirely accurate. Two things that immediately come to mind are the in-game booster sites (which were added a while ago, granted) and more recently, the Ante chronicle.
These two things alone may not be stellar examples of a faction's storyline proceeding with all pistons firing, but are at least sufficient to demonstrate that things have, in fact, been happening on that front in the last two years. With time, I could probably dig up some more lower-profile developments in the news and such.
Edit: Fixed quote fail.

Edited by: Roga Dracor on 25/11/2010 02:10:31 Think about the implications and ramifications of infomorph technology leaking into politics and the potential subterfuge of political machinations.
We should all be very concerned about infomorphs, we capsuleers.
Take the player fiction about capsuleers being jarred up and prodded, worse than we already are. The potential to intercept a flash upload signal, capture or "record" it, send it out later, modified? Or even just snuff it out.
I sense the makings of a Butlerian Jihad on the horizon. Or is that in the past? Getting so hard to remember how it goes..
And he meant the Serps are Intaki, not Gallente..

Also there was a Serpentis pilot at one (or more?) of the live event incursions. Their reason for helping was pretty much if everyone was dead then there was no one for them to sell boosters to :-p. ""
