Hi. I'm a new player that is in my second week on a paid account. I have 550k in learning to reassign dec 14. I like mining and exploring. So I need some pve. Not intertested in pvp for a long time. How should i use my skill points? I'm What would you do?

Depends on what you already have.
Drones, maybe? ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Not much you can do with so few sp, tbh.
I would dump it all in gunnery.

Mining Barge. Thats half the points needed for lvl 5 :) Or put it into cloaking if you like exploring, much more fun to explore dangerous places when nobody can find you lol :D ______________________________________________________

Put them on neccesary skills where you have the lowest attributes in. Since my character have lowest scores in Charisma/memory/intelligence, and dont plan to reapply my attribute points atm. it can be nice to dump them on skills that uses those attributes.

Improving the basic spaceship skills of navigation is always a good investment. But dumping it all into gunnery/missiles/drones is gonna get you a very obvious step above where you're at now considering you're 2 weeks in.

500k are basically 2 level V of rank 1 skills. Look at your basic skills and find those two skills. -------------------------------- Fulbert. Miner - Industrialist |

you could do a reassignment of your atribute points to intellegence memory perception and willpower and dump 550k skillpoints in something that requires charisma like leadership. -------------

If you run a lot of missions and have research agents, Negotiation to 5 will work wonders. and its a charisma skill, so puting points there will help alot

put it into cybernetics, buy implants, train at nearly maxed speed, profit

Also don't stop training up your learning skills and make sure to have the ones that have the highest sp rate seeded into your skill queue as each one that is finished will let you train just that bit faster. Don't bother with the advanced ones though if they are not already bought as that would be a waste of isk.

How is inscreasing his sp rate over the next couple of weeks pointless? He will end up with more sp to redistribute if he keeps training them up instead of abandoning them now.

Yep especially if he uses his free respec on mem intel, he can just poop out more memory and intel skils and then sink more into basic learning which are all mem/intel.. He'll basically be training everything at his max ability regardless of what they are perc/will or char or whatever. He can redistribute all his super trained sp in a couple weeks

I'll up that to a 9/10 as I didn't even realise I might have to grade this until "helpful community" was mentioned. ----------- Why is it called common sense, when it's clearly very rare.
I had a mind once, but alas, I seem to have forgotten where I left it.
