So, with this new Noctis aroudn I've seen people looking for "jobs". And by jobs I mean ninja salvaging. So my question is, if I invite someone to my fleet, can I shoot them without getting concorded? Also, if they steal my stuff, am I allowed to shoot them? I raelly want to get some nice shiny killmails you see :P
Cheers

No selfrespecting ninja would use a noctis.

You will be concorded if you shoot at someone who is in your fleet.

If you have them in your fleet, they can take your loot without it being considered stealing. If they are not in your fleet and they steal loot (not to be confused with salvage) you will be allowed to shoot at them.

I plan to use a Noctis in situations where the carebear has set large fields of wrecks blue (free-for-all). Then again, I'm not much of a ninja. ---- Blog: My Loot, Your Tears |

Well as a newbie in the ninja and salvaging fields, I generally speaking will use my Buzzard to wait for the missioner to leave before I sneak my extra fast Noctis in. I don't really care if it's not the best ship to use, it looks awesome and I'm pretty big on RP (so prefer to use an actual salvage ship for salvage).
Ah well, my isk/hour isn't exactly great, but I still get by and I have fun, so what else really matters in the grand scheme of things.

Get them into your fleet, get them into the mission site, and leave the fleet just as they're about to loot some juicy wrecks. If you're lucky, they'll assume it was an accident, or you disconnected from the server, and will take the loot anyway.
Then you murder them.

Another strategy might be in a multi-room mission, clear the first room and tell them you're in the second. But you're not, you're actually cloaked in a stealth bomber or recon in the first room. They warp to the mission and see the empty first room full of wrecks. Now if you leave fleet, there's no immediate clue from the overview (you don't turn from purple back to gray), and they're more likely to be bold about taking the loot anyway because they "know" you're in the second room.
Then you murder them.

Here's how you fix this. You start the convo with your agent. Realize you're about to do a mission. Figure out that it sucks and there are way more fun things to do in EVE. Wave at ninjas as you go do those things. "Aghast the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is." |
