As founder/CEO I helped take this band of loyal buddies out to 0.0 where we helped to form Sc0rched Earth Alliance with whom we took control and held sovereignty in Fade and then later in Wicked Creek. The Current leadership and members are all in it for the team. We have an active forum just packed full of old and new information. An out of game chat built into that forum and our members are encouraged to build friendships that go beyond just playing this great game called EVE.
If you want a small tight knit band of brothers who will help you and back you up in whatever it is you want in the game then this is the corp for you.
currently we are based in low sec but we have friends all over the game universe and we can run 'day trips' and even extended adventures into just about any region of space you ever dreamed of going to. Currently we do not seek to hold sov in 0.0 but that does not mean you cannot access the vast resources that are available out there. all you need is a plan and a crew to back you up. So you've flown in EVE for a bit, and you have this all figured out, right? We have members who've flown in EVE since 2003, and across all the careers you can perform.

The intricacies of T2 reactions are a mystery to me - but our reaction/tower gurus can teach you the fine art of T2 reactions, POS layouts, and the market mechanics of picking the best reactions for the time.
LoSec/Nullsec small gang roams are on the calendar, if that's your thing, mining ops and group missioning for LP and standings as well.

When I wanted to step out from my carebear cave, A.SEC took me in. They taught me the basics of PvP, brought me out into nullsec and taught me how to survive in the wild. Along the way I also learned a bit about passive ISK income, towers and moons and things I just don't really care much about anymore, but is still great knowledge.
Friends who haven't been in the corp in a year or more still visit us in the diner - do you want to become one of those friends?

So after reviewing the state of incursions, we've decided that there will be some incursion activity in our future. Did you warp solo into an incursion system belt/site and find yourself sitting in a pod? Did you join a 50 main Vanguard Incursion fleet and get no rewards? Come fly with us. We will hone your fleet skills with group PvE/PvP action.

We recently were involved in a hisec war, and depending on your point of view, we lost badly. But from our point of view, we had fun. So what if we lost some ships? They are quickly and easily replaced, and we got to work together and learn new tactics (man, hisec wars are more challenging than nullsec ones in some ways).
We don't require a minimum skill point level, or a killboard link. Our minimum requirement is that you enjoy the game. Come talk to us in Aurora's Diner - we have members in EU and US Timezones so there's usually someone on to chat with.

Wow, we've been a bit lax here in the forum. 
A.SEC continues to have open recruiting, only request is you must have completed the rookie missions, and want to have fun playing the game. Hey, did you hear about the Noctis? Our CEO decided that since it was a new ship during the holidays, we all got one in our hangars for Christmas (thanks Hedge)!
