I thing its time for Extra large poses, like large poses but in double.
After sup caps boost poses are out of date pretty much :) POS def is also usless alot for now.
What you thing folks abouth Extra Large poses
2 x Shield 2 x Armor 2 x hull 2 x CPU 2 x Grid 2 x fuel usage adn etc all 2x same as large but double.

I think you should add to that list:
5x cost (so they don't get spammed all over lowsec by noobs)
and decrease the shield/armor/hull a bit. Honestly, they take forever to kill already, 2x would be very annoying.
Other than that I wouldn't mind. Of course, a better solution would be to create CPU/PG modules that consume fuel and cost a lot. That way you could have your super production POS without driving everybody insane.

agreed- definately a better option.
examples Solar Harvester array- adds PG (a model already exists) Supercomputer array- adds CPU

Yea something like that. Or at least some changes in pos def situation. For now 1 or 2 moms can reinforce a pos for several mins.
For production modules can be made to take morre cpu and grid. Yep its good one.

You'd need these POS's to cost enough in initial and upkeep to render solo players from using them. In other words, make them cost too much to maintain for one person to go to the trouble to raise enough isk just to pay for fuel.
Other than that, neat idea and it addresses the issue of defenses while making a corp run POS better than a solo-run POS (which makes sense anyways.)

Ye or make slots in POSES for extend same like ships
2-3 low slots, 2-3 medium and 2-3 high slots and ppl can deside how to upgrade a pos, for def, for production, or for research :)

Oh god. The lack of "slots" would make that incredably OP. "Lets thow on X of these and X of those, and fit as many guns as we have the ISK for!"

if you give the CPU/PG mods a stacking penalty so they use more and more fuel for each one you put up you can still make a POS with insane def but it would cost insane amounts of fuel

true, but if you leave them offlined until you are attacked you can online them and your guns only when you are attacked. I mean, whats some fuel compared to losing an XL pos?
Stacking penalty to the actual PG/CPU you get so after a while they don't add any to be worth it? Maybe like 2-3?

Impossible. If I can run twice as many moon goo reactions, I can afford twice as much fuel. And it wouldn't make sense not to. Everybody who needs this kind of POS would start using it as soon as they became available.
The ones in highsec would become particularly annoying fast.

there is a lot of posibility to make, but something has to be done. for now poses are usless, in other case they are the core of EVE, no poses no t2 mats, no t2 we all know. so lets make a simple vote and sujesctions.
poses with upgrades poses ex large poses with upgrades that reqiued sov or something like this poses with extendet modules poses - ded stars realy ded stars that they can kill moms titans etc
my opinion: make skill - advanced anchoring - anchor time -50% make skill - advanced starbase def make skill - advanced industry starbasde: will provide pos modules for reactions make skill - elite starbase def - can operate advanced guns in pos modules like ex large cannons - dmg against moms titans

why i say this - example:
10 moms 5 titans = pos down in 2mins = anchoring skills erm WHY ? what u can do ?
example - you have make faction pos full faction = 5bil and you gona louse in 2mins erm why ?
solutions: make ex large guns that can track only sup caps and do realy nice dmg on them and only in sup caps so pos defenders have a little chance to defend it.
same thing: reactions okey guys wana make isks, make poses that required several skils in this for modules reactions etc.... but poses have medium def that they cant defend against sup caps or something.
Faction poses coast x 3 why to spend 20% fuel, i belive thats a mistake - make poses in meta level or compare to modules, whats gona be if u have dominations pos meta 14 :):):)
For me if the pos coast 5bil i wana know why, what he can do, why im gona pay 5 bil for this. For now poses are little forgeted in past of EVE.
CCP defenetly has to make progress in core of EVE, in base of economics in this.

if your large pos went down in 2 minutes to 10moms and 5 titans, you did something wrong. while it is possible to use fighter bombers on the tower, it is also risky in lag, so most mothership pilots use sentries.
you forgot your hardeners maybe? if you want to annoy your enemies.... large caldari or minmatar tower with 18-21 hardeners. (faction towers for extra fun).
or in highsec. large caldari with loooooooooots of jammers. basically as many as you can fit.

depends on the fuel/bonus ratio as to how cost effective this would be. If the onlining times are long enough, then they won't be as feasible for reactive defense.
Other options:
- to have the PG arrays use a lot of CPU, and the CPU arrays use a lot of PG, so having one of each removes 90% (or whatever) of the extra fitting given. This would limit their use in quantity, while still allowing one or the other to be fitted to give slight boosts.
- set a limit as to how much the tower's fitting can be boosted- say, bonus cannot exceed original stats. This would give a reason to use the existing larger towers as opposed to a small tower with lots of arrays.
