So i got +5mil SP to diffy up and thinking about putting them in wing commander V and Link Spec so i can use command processors...
The problem with 110mil+ sp is not much left to learn within my profession.
i have nowhere to put it which is not my post-remap list...
Are the fleet command and Link Spec worth the train? Or is the diffrence to small to notice?

if you are using the gang mods the link specs make a HUGE difference ... otherwise you are training the link specs to 5 for the mindlink to add 5% to the base skill (you can think of it as +1% per level of link spec)
... you don't have to worry about WC 5 really unless you specifically aim for FC and that's only if you expect to go for fleets that's bigger than 50 people (1 wing with 5 squads) ... only only "need" FC if you are adding more wings or if you are very fortunate to have three different types of command ships for a full command line of FC, WC and SC.
I'll say the link specs are definitely worth it while the WC and FC skills are costly without giving YOU good bonuses. .

You can upgrade one to 15% with the mindlink implant. And if you're flying a command ship/BC/T3 you can give even nicer bonus to your fleet (shield or armor resists links are almost +30% all resists at "all level 5") _ WTS Capital BPOs |

If you don't know why you would need WC or FC trained it's no point wasting SP there.
Just use the SP on your current skillqueue to make it a little shorter.

Thanks for the info on the Link Spec i will get to 5 with my re-imbursement as i do tend to fleet ops from time to time.

With all due respect i do know the actual abillity the skill gives i was just wondering if there is a other benefit to it and i did get some insight from people earlier.
thanks for that. Flap,

None other then being able to support bigger fleets. ---

that's still training a rank 3 skill to level 5... picking and choosing depending on the race ships you fly is a good idea. .

I was referring to this:

Fleet Command brings a pretty significant change that you will notice IF you know what the skill is doing.

I'd max the base Leaderships, but I'd only go full on Link Spec if you plan to be the booster in gangs and fly ships appropriate for that role.

I only have 3 things to say about this:
1) The mindlink is EVERYTHING.
2) Leadership skills on a "main" are nice for putting 1 link on a BC or CS in a small gang, this can be very useful in a pinch.
3) If you are serious about leadership skills, you are better off using an alt for the role. |

The point for me is only lvl 5's because i already have all basic fleet skills on 5 (as i fly all races) and all the specs on 4.
FLeet Commander seems a bit pointless as i don't fly huge fleets.
But the Link Spec is maybe worth it then as i can fit up to 6 units in a unprobable t3?
It's hard to decide where to put these one time offer sps...But rather put them in skills that give something back while not being mapped for them.
