Is;
Another 50k star systems with a shift to jump drive instead of gates.
Plus's:
Freedom for groups to get lost out there, farm your own planets, and find security in the vastness of space. With Jump drives jumping further it will also reduce the travel times, perhaps one long warp rather than 20 individual jumps. The next level, on so many levels :)

EVE is by design not meant to be safe and no risk.
Even 1.0 systems are not safe

If a new map is added to the game it should not cater specifically for the vets, it should cater to everyone, thus the jump drive only idea is scrapped, who by? by me!... and probably CCP... hopefully. Wormhole access is sensible, thus separating the two maps in a logical way and allowing anyone to find it.

how do you get to a place that can only be jumped too unless cyno pilots, who don't jump get into the region first.

one way construction ships -start in warp slignshot around the sun (useing all capacity to maintain warp speed and come out in the new system) then use the construction ship to start building a makeshift gate/pos/shipyard useing the materials that you took with you to start (~ a super version of a orca) (a random idear)

In fact i find Eve in many ways, too safe. The systems i talked of adding, could only be 0.0 space.
More players will venture beyond the protection of concord because now the odds on avoiding confrontation are that much better. (Good enough to get into some belts and mine in 0.0)
So i believe it will start to dissolve the barrier between high sec carebear players and low/null. Right now it's a bit like apartheid. Carebears and then the rest of us. There is a wealth of gameplay in loosening these barriers. Not to mention the joy of exploring such a wilderness :)

A few questions,
Are there npc's out there? if there is, whats the story behind them being there.
Are there belts and mins + Ice? if so what types?
Is it conquerable space?
Is there any form of station or outpost allowed?
lastly whats the purpose of this space, and will it crash the economy because theres millions more minerals & resource available, will it make jita even more the place to jump to, to resupply.

Few, though there will be pirate bands taking advantage of the freedom and wealth i imagine.

Yea of course, all types.

Yes, but there will be npc pirate groups that are also interested in control.

Good points. These are the tough questions, but obviously markets will become unbalanced, of course only to find a new balance. If there were costs associated with transport of large amounts of minerals and ore then new regional hubs will come about, rather than Jita being over-run. But these are very specific details, and if some elements were to damage gameplay then adjustments would have to be built in to control it, naturally.
The big picture or vision of what this will do (can do) is;
Essentially draw all types of players into 0.0 space. Miners, traders, pirates, the lot. Rather than concord you would have your wits, and of course a lot more room to maneuver. To me that's freedom, it just needs to be a viable option for all types of players.
