I'm posting from an empty alt for this comment. I am looking to sell a number of my tech I products directly to a Tech II producer and want to know a few things.
- Do Tech II producers look for an arranged sale of Tech I products, and if they do what type of markup are they willing to pay?
- Is there a better place to organize and coordinate the advertisement of this type of arrangement?
I am willing to decrease my profit on tech I items that go towards Tech II production, but I don't know how to contact a tech II producer in my field without giving away all my "secrets" and towards how much to decrease the profit margin by.
If you have any information on how to set up an arrangement like this please provide any information you have.
Thanks.

Most T2 producer tends to build everything from the mineral up to the final product, some perhaps even mine the moon themselves. Most do this to squeeze every last bit of profit out of the entire production line.
You can find arrangement by posting in WTB forum

Tech 2 producers do indeed look for pre-arranged sales of the tech 1 version however you're looking at it a little backward. It's not how much of a markup that they are willing to pay it's how little discount you can get away with offering. Remember that you will be trading via a private contract so your fees will simply be 10k rather than having to take into account sales tax and full broker fees. This means that you will have a lower overhead and can therefore afford to offer a lower per-unit price. You will also be competing against the market price as well. Do not expect to be able to sell these items at a profit if selling on the market would result in a loss of more than a couple of % or so.
As for finding them, you're going to have to go out on a limb initially. Stick a mail out with a per-unit price and volume per week to the bulk mail list and see if you get any interest.

That is a mailing list. Usually averages about 10-15 mails per day from people looking to buy/sell items.
