Who is your eve role model, the person who inspires you, people you have alot of respect for too and why?

I have a lot of respect for myself because I'm a kool kid and I think of myself as my own role model. I'm also a massively arrogant jerk.
Just kidding. Sort of. I think of the Russians as my role model because they make lots of money through totally legit ratting methods which I think you should try.

That's a company. No, Protus is something far vaster, far more powerful, far more herpity derpity than some programming solutions group...But if I could tell you exactly what it was, then I wouldn't be asking the question. As things are I can only tell you what Protus is not.

At the risk of being noobish and repeating myself, those who post entertaining pvp vids such as Garmon/Genos Occidere/HYDRA RELOADED and DHB Wildcat.
Also entertained by PL in the AT8 and seemingly constant chatter about them blowing up much stuff with some supercap fleet. Meh, 0.0. |

In an attempt to make a legitimate post:
Here are the people who have inspired me/influenced me/I respect, in chronological order (since I don't think of any one as more important than the others). I wouldn't exactly call them role models, so much as inspirations:
1. Istvaan Shotgatsu, for destroying that corp way back, making the news, and making me notice Eve and like the idea behind it.
2. Wensley, of Tusker fame, for getting me into pvp via his awesome blog. Only ever met the guy once, though. He killed me. It was a good fight.
3. The guy who made that Merlin video, Lord of the ****, for introducing me to my favorite pvp frig and showing me what it's capable of.
4. The guys and gal(s?) at Rooks and Kings, for making the Triage videos and showing me how Eve can operate strategically, and making me wish I could afford cap warfare.
5. Liang Nuren, for his excellent forum-whoring, and for consistently telling everyone how crappy Minmatar were back in the day. He was the first person who got me really thinking about Eve works.

Hmm let's see.
Abbel Nightroad of Wings Under Fury- he helped teach me that pirates are the anvil in EvE- you either learn or get pounded.
Istvaan Shotgatsu- for all the reasons listed.
Chribba- he is a carebear that makes the game better with his resources.
Killer08- the funniest flash videos I've ever seen, in or out of Eve. I've never laughed so hard.
Ralian Gelain- Best Path, inc CEO- kept Ethereal Dawn(with help) fighting and surviving against everything the universe could send at ED over the years. Great CEO and even better FC.
IrishRanger- took me to 0.0 when i was a bright eyed newb and taught me what a "bookmark" was and how fun it really was.
i'm sure there are others. Epic forum posters/*****s are entertaining, but playing with or against people that are great is what inspires me.

Never had a better Corp then Nabaal.
