Edited by: Jarcen Knzki on 12/12/2010 03:36:17 I heard you can make them unprobeable...how is this achieved? Does it have to do with signature radius? Or sensor strength, as I've seen fits with ECCM's fitted. Also, do you lose skills when you die in a T3? A friends' friend said that he died in one and lost a level in his battleship skill. (I thought it was just a subsystems skill that you lose) |

It's both. You have a 1.08 ratio of sig radius to sensor str and you are unprobable, with maxed skills, best scanning equipment and a full set probing implants.
Quote: Also, do you lose skills when you die in a T3?
Yes. One level from one subsystem skill.

He's either incredibly stupid or lying. Probably lying.

If you are piloting a Strategic Cruiser and it gets blown out from under you, you will lose one level from a random Subsystem skill. If you eject before it actually blows up, you will not lose any skill levels.
If he died in a Strategic Cruiser and lost a level of <Racial> Battleship skill, that means he also got podded and didn't have a clone big enough to hold all of his skill points. Poor preparation on his part. ----- Ambush. Hit and run. Gank before tank. Speed is life. |

Wasn't there a bug early on with strategic cruisers where having one blown out from under you would sometimes delete a non-subsystem skill? I recall hearing something to that effect and while I thought I heard about it in relation to Tranquility I'm not 100% sure if it was Tranquility or Singularity that the bug was on.

Fit some Halo implants, and you'll be unprobable:
[Tengu, Unprobable Tengu] Gravimetric Backup Array II Gravimetric Backup Array II Co-Processor II 'Dyad' Co-Processor I
Corelum C-Type 10MN Afterburner Command Processor I Command Processor I Command Processor I Conjunctive Gravimetric ECCM Scanning Array I
[empty high slot] Covert Ops Cloaking Device II Siege Warfare Link - Active Shielding Siege Warfare Link - Shield Harmonizing Siege Warfare Link - Shield Efficiency Skirmish Warfare Link - Interdiction Maneuvers
Medium Warp Core Optimizer II Medium Low Friction Nozzle Joints II Medium Low Friction Nozzle Joints II
Tengu Defensive - Warfare Processor Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier Tengu Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration Tengu Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix --
