Everybody told me not to do it. But I went ahead and did it anyways. As predicted by all, I failed. As a result, I have all this negatives emotions I have to deal with alone. The people that actually cared are now disappointed and don't care anymore.
If I feel sad, angry, guilty or whatever, I have lots of friends and family that will hear me out...EXCEPT if it is related to "what shall not be mentioned". On that all I get is "I told you so" followed by very mean things that make me feel even worst.
Not being able to talk about it sucks lots.
That is all. |

That is a big step.

I remember I used to make the most.. pitiful.. pleading posts on these forums and no matter how tiny and worthless I felt someone would always help me out. Doesn't have to be a name you know from around here, good advice can come from any direction.
If there's something you want to talk about I'm sure you can find someone impartial who won't judge you for it and just talking about things can often make them seem so much more manageable.
I hope you feel better soon. ______________________________________________

Oh... I have done admission too. I'm guilty on all counts. I don't make any excuses, mea culpa, I was an idiot.
Kinda difficult to stop refreshing the memories tho. See, one of the consequences of "what shall not be mentioned" actually breathes and runs around the house screaming all the time and making lots-a-noise.
If fact, some old timers around here might remember her main weapon choice, the t2 crying mouth that, at level one, was able to emit a high pitch scream capable of melting your brain in 0.3 seconds flat (linky). She is now level 4 and it seems to be a 25% bonus per level to the weapon... and she can now perma-run her micro-warp-drive so, there is no escape.

Taking the woman back when everyone around you can see she is still using you is a move that won't get you any respect but if you can at least pen it off as something you did for the child then in the long run you can regain some of that. If you insist on making it about you they will start to see you as a weakling to be used too.
If you need to vent go over what you say to her once she tries to pull one like that again and work it to perfection and spare the surroundings. Hell write it down if it helps with the catharsis, eventually you will see and internalize what the problem is and if not a complete victim you will be able to stand your ground and demand respect.
If it's not about a woman/man then perhaps your problem is your inability to be direct?

Some kinda got it but let give some details, on EvE terms...
I met this pilot and she could fly really good so we formed roaming gang. We docked and a noob in a frigate came out. I was happy with her and the noob and wanted to make it official and form corp. But then she bailed out, took all the loot and the noob.
I missed her and I missed the noob and I was hurt. Then she shows up with the noob, no loot. Everybody warned me, "she only wants to clean your one-man corp wallet". But I was stupid and didn't listened. We formed corp. There was some more docking and a 2nd noob in frigate came out. One day, as predicted by everybody, she cleaned out corp wallet and fled with both noobs.
This time I petition and game master ordered we had to share the noob training 50% 50%. It worked for a while but now she always have some excuse and doesn't show up to do her part of the noobs training. Noobs are cranky.
I freaking LOVE training the noobs all they long. But if we don't pay corp office bill we get thrown out. I HAVE to go out to make iskies and I can't take the noobs with me all the time. When she doesn't show up, I get screwed.
I met new female pilot who moved into the corp and is doing a really good job. Even tho she didn't participate in the noobs creation, she helps me a lot with their training, watches them while I go make iskies and even helps with corp office bill. I wish I could have some more free time to fly with this new pilot, she really earned her place. But as it is, I have to spend 99% of the time either making iskies or training the noobs.
If you have trained noobs on your own, with the other builder going awol and never sending any trit, you know how difficult it is. I get frustrated a lot and nobody hear me out cuz "we told you so" and stuff. And I know is my fault, I just want to vent once in a while... it usually helps.

Best part is I read that without reading 'on eve terms' and it made no sense at all, then I read again and was like "ahh I thought it was that".
Ok what you need todo is mention your asl here, for training and quality purposes and then you need to make sure you get insurance, last thing you need is another noob undocking.

Well, it doesnt matter that "people told you so" stuff. The "I told you" syndrome is not helpful but useful as a guidance, as in it lets you realize the people that were "telling you so" at least were honest and trying to protect you.
Even if the way they were doing it was crass, spiteful or perhaps too honest, they, at least tried to warn you and that means in a sense they were looking out for your interests. Try to reconcile with "them"? If they just keep blurting the "I told you so" part, well, they are not of much help now so tell them that and ask them to just either let you be or in that case to back off. No need to hear that all day long
The reality is you are here and now, and well, enjoying the noob training even if it is hard or leaves you frustrated. All normal part of life
Vent all you like, I know a lot of people here will understand and besides the occasional trollolol that will rear out its ugly head, most of us will at least read, understand and give you a small virtual pat in the back
If you were here in Panama I would gladly buy you a beer, hear you out and enjoy another beer or spirited drink as I keep listening. I enjoy listening to people in english lol
take care!

You know what you should do?
Go and gate camp her home system. When she undocks, warp scram her ship then destroy it.
Warp scram her pod and start offering ransoms. Use some references like 'i'll hang you by your ****en ***s from a 12 storey building' and 'i'l ****en sew your ***hole closed and keep feeding you' and don't forget 'i'l pull your ****en tongue out your ****en mouth and stab that **** with a rusty screwdriver'.
If she transfers all assets and isk to you, let her go. if not... well.
Moral of the story? Always trust your family. Always.
Fell for ya though man :( Keep up with the legalities to you can see ur noobs as often as possible

Train the young noob pilots. Train them well. Form an alliance with the new female pilot but be careful on her corp permissions. As the noobs grow and become better pilots, use the female pilot to gather intel on the now hostile corps - in fact gather intel on corps who are begrudgingly friendly (true trust / friendship does not come with "I told you so!"). Study the intel. Find the weakness. Then when the time is right, turn pirate corp and unleash the fury of your well trained noobs and exploit the weaknesses of your enemies with your well thought up masterful plan! Let them all know that the new order of the galaxy shall be by rule of you and your noob pilot minions!
Side note: You may want to lure them out to null sec to be sure that CONCORD does not interfere to interrupt your noob's training before and subsequent reign thereafter. Also may be wise to bring a salvage vessel along to be sure that all wrecks are cleaned up thoroughly as to not make other would be hostiles aware of their probably fate. CONCORD would probably best served to not find the wrecks also.

Keep logs of the original co-directors activities, with witnesses and proof, so you have a verifiable record of her honouring (or not) the 50-50 newbie training and ship replacement funds. Use this to get CONCORD onside in the event of any major disputes.
