Edited by: Edgar Berberos on 18/12/2010 22:39:29 Hi, after sisi client had crashed my desktop got this grey overlay on it. Client restarted itself again and I think didn't think of it much then.
After I logged off, the same grey overlay covered my desktop. Besides that everything worked fine and reboot got rid of the problem. I wasn't able to reproduce it either, so the problem might as well be at my end.
Details; win XP sp3 32bit, AMD Phenom II x4 940, radeon 4680, 4gb RAM corsair. All graphic setting were enabled, everything on high and AA at 4x.
Anyways; The expansion is looking pretty good! Keep up the good work!

Originally by: Tub Chil UPDATE DRIVER
I get this tinting of windows desktop myself, fully up to date AMD drivers and everything... more on TQ than SISI though however i found a way for at least windows 7 users to deal with it. Start a program (any program but I use a game that runs in compatability) that wants admin rights and if you still have it query then it will bring a pop-up up, say no and its back to norm. Or yes, both do so. So... which driver could it be or is it EVE Online and windows? I blame incursion or Windows (I like blaming Windows, plenty to blame it for) as it started about half way though incursion when Sansha arrived and character creator.
EDIT: Added a bit and made it read better

This is bug in Radeon cards and the drivers they use. I know since both my laptop, Radeon 5650, and desktop, Radeon 4890, experience this.
Fixes include; updating your drivers, pressing ctrl-alt-delete, running in windowed or fixed window mode. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

I have the same problem on Windows 7. Brand new install of both EVE and Windows. All ATI drivers up to date. It ust be an ATI driver bug really.
Just for the records, when i get this bug it always goes away when I run Atlantica Online. It probably has something to do with rendering another graphic in full screen.
