Ive tried using the automatic updater that pops up on login, the repair tool and the sisilauncher but they all fail and crash when the download is at 18%. has anyone else have trouble with downloading the patch?

yes... tried 3 times yesterday and the most I got was 78% before the download froze

I am having a similar problem, after the auto patcher restarts the client to apply the patch the repair tool kicks in and tells me I have to download the entire client, my connection sucks ( less than 1mb ) so this is not really an option.
Can we please just have a download patch file

the test client osx is corrupted, dl few times, the same.
Does anybody actually test the release on e fresh mac to see if it works?? :)

any news? how can i fix this?
ive copied over fresh install of working tranquility client and tried patching/sisilauncher but it still always fails at 18.1% downloading the 1.4gb character creation files and its not my connection.
i can upload a dxinfo if itll help.

Only 2 or 3 people, most certainly only CCP employees. Probably internal testing. No patch as of yet available.
DEV DEMO was also the type when we were able to access Sisi the last time, so it may or may not mean anything... hopefully we can still tool around with the character creator before it goes live on 18th of January. |

how is it possible that test server is unavailable? i see 200+ people on it from chukker, and there are like 20 character creation threads. and youre saying nobody can get on? can someone please help me with installing the patch>?

eve offline says version is 6.4.216164 - EVE-EVE-DEV-DEMO@ccp . I already tried downloading the fullinstaller 7 times unsucessfully the repair tool also freezes when downloading data. Hopefully we will get a normal patch soon. |

Well, whatever you guys do wrong, 100s of people don't have your problem.
Might be time to EXACTLY tell us what is going on on your end. Ie. what are you doing? Are you on a Mac? What programs do you use when downloading? Are you on WLAN? ..
Fix:
- Copy anything in ../CCP/EVE to ../CCP/EVE-TEST
- Download http://content.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch214371-216164_test_m.exe (if you don't trust URL, go to the patch section here and download the Tranquilty TO Singularity patch)
- Point patch to ../CCP/EVE-TEST and let it run
