I plan to move to lowsec and do lv5 missions with the rattlesnake and machariel, is this doable? Also if you know of a better ship duo that one character that is trained Gallente/Caldari 5/4 and the other pilot is Gallente/Miminitar 5/4.

That will be a great duo for level 5. Rattlesnake can do great tanking while still providing DPS, and Machariel is well know DPS machine. You can use one high slot on Machariel for Shield Transporter just in case something goes very wrong.

Is it so hard to figure out? Check his standings ingame, find the one he is at the required level for 5's, find their level 5 agents, find the highest quality he can run, scout out that system. Rinse and repeat till you find the right one.

Considering there's only a few L5 agents kicking around nowadays, it shouldn't be hard to find out.

Since they are all Q12, that should narrow it down a bit. Or just use a locator agent, assuming he uses that char used above. Suggestion: Remove the "new topic" button from everywhere apart from the list of topics section within a subforum.
That'd save those with chronic hand/eye coordination some face. |

Battleshiups are in my opinion a bit too bulky for low sec missionrunning. The best option should be the unprobable T3 cruisers. I'm not sure however how it is to dualaccount them as cruiser size hulls tend to be rather 'manual' in the higher level missions.

Edited by: Nomad Vherokic on 21/12/2010 03:47:14 Unless you are friendly with the locals, it will take a few minutes for the locals to scan down your Rattler (sig of a small moon), have you warp scrambled and served up on toast. Bad idea to dual box L5s with BS in unfriendly space. Dual BS was doable in high-sec if you can wait 4 hours each time you have to cancel an undesirable mission, just needs a spider-tank and/or logi support.
Solo Vagabond is great fun though and does not draw attention. Avoid missions with Stasis Towers though... T3 with ECCM is also a possibility.

unprobable t3 won't work. you need to active-tank them, but they will be out of cap because of neutralizers, which are in almost every level 5 mission.
machariel+rattlesnake will most likely not work as well, since most missions have many waves incomeing, machariel will get primaried too. or you have to warp out a lot with it.

Yeah then go waste his time and yur time everytime he has to dock up when the probes come out or hit ctr+space everytime your sitting on undock
lv 4's are best for solo lv 5's are best as corp op with cap/pvp support

Rattlesnake is very good tanking but has low DPS even woith perfect skills. Some of the proven combos used are the following: 1)Tengu + basilisk, buffer tank tengu with hardeners and an MWD + a basilisk that feeds shield and cap.No point active tanking the tengu since the neuts will kill the cap anyway. 2)Maelstrom+remote repair Dominix.Nice DPS from the maelstrom, good tank too+ the remote reps and DPS from the assigned sentry drones from the Dominix. 3)Nightmare+rr Dominix.Thats a good one 4)Vargur+rr Dominix. 5)Ishtar+guardian.good luck beeing patient 6)Arti Sleipnir+basilisk(always logi with energy transfer bonus to keep the cap alive) 7)raven+rr Domi
Hell i ve even seen shield tanked Hypes with rr melting lvl5 missions. The problem isnt finding the proper ships and fits to do lvl5s.the problem is how to move around so you can make it impossible to get tackled. This i wont say what to do,be smart about it:) P.S bring back AOE DD please, need to seel +5 implants for moar ISK

If you're looking for expensive ships, a friend used to use a Vulture/Nightmare combo. Worked pretty damn well. VT tank, and NM DPS and 1 shield rep, IIRC.
If you want to do them safely, get a pair of unprobable Tengus. One fit for passive tank, and some ECCM, the other with shield RR, projected ECCM, and it's own ECCM. Both are unprobable with the projected ECCM running, and the combined DPS isn't all that bad either. -------------------

Edited by: Yob tvay''matar on 22/12/2010 03:54:05 Using anything other than unprobable fleet *will* get you ganked, often, so the answer to your question is no fkn way. You have 2 accounts? caldari/gallente and gallente/matar? Best isk/h would be separate l4 missions with CNR and Machariel in highsec.

So your suggestion is duel box and do lvl4 missions to make what?40 MIL per hour max? Good to medium lvl 5 missioners are doing from 4 to 6 missions per hour wich is more or less 200-300 MIL per hour. Its very good to see so much ignorance regarding corp organisation and lvl5 missions(and i am not refering to run them with alot of people). It obviously keeps the prices up so few can make tones of ISK. Also...bring back AOE DD please, need to boost the implant price moar
