if you read my original post..youll see i state not 1 person but average about 6..... so if 1 red in system we still do sites, damn if 4 reds in system we still do sites...your plan is flawed...simple!

(1)Tactical combat is intelligent combat. If you came to EvE for bravery you joined the wrong game. Being a coward is paramount to being successful at EvE. Bravery is a flaw to be exploited.
(2)In the process. This type of project takes time and a little effort. Two things which I haven't had lately (being Christmas and having family and a life outside of EvE).
(3) I didn't get war decs nerfed. I made the game a little more interesting and exciting. The incessant whining of the alliances not having a safe empire to carebear in got war decs nerfed and made the game a little less interesting and exciting. So you may thank yourself (if you whined about the Priveteer war decs). --------------------------------------------- Hate Bots / RMT? The only ones claiming to be oh-so-awesome at PVP is people like you, who go about spouting "risk" when in fact what you really mean is risk to everyone else, but not to you. Heaven forbid CCP decided to add some risk to AFK cloakers in 0.0. That would just be too cruel and harsh for ya . But of course, YOU as a cloaker should be able to bring risk to others. Not the other way 'round though. Who really are the cowards? Who really are bigger bears? HINT: You.

Erhm.. you know, as long as there is a DT, those AFK cloackers in the anomalies will be shoved off the server as you guys. So all they can really do is delay the de-spawn of the site by a max of 23hours and 30minutes (if you completed the site right after the server came back up.
How many sites are there at any given moment in your system? How many aren't despawning after finishing?
If at all the site despawn mechanic needs to be changed to where the site is removed as soon as it's despawn trigger is executed. I know that at the moment those sites stay for the site-bound cans, so that you can loot them. That's another problem with those sites actually.. You can't keep track of those cans. If they where normal cans/wrecks they wouldn't be bound to the site.
TL;DR: No need for change of cloak mechanics, but for site despawn and site-bound can/wreck mechanics. Make a proposal for this (the one with the cans actually has been proposed already I think) and I'm sure you'll get several people to support you. support Public Idea Tracker | 24hr PLEX |

I've actually claimed in many of my posts that I'm not a great pvp'r. Which is true, I'm really not. My sig I AM BETTER THAN YOU was simply a troll, which generated massive hookings btw. That really sucks man. This tactic just 10 folds the grief of a AFK cloaker in system. Risk vs Reward does not apply to them. I can adapt, but for most people who play this game it really shuts everything down for them.

Cloaking is ok. Esspecially when you shut a system down. Saying this however.....
The game mechanics around cloaking are wrong. A cloak is almost unbeatable if the cloaky doesnt want to be found.
Sitting in CA`s is just not right and cant be what CCP wants or designed the cloak for and as such it should be fixed. Surely it would be an easy fix to make them despawn after a specific timer or something.
Whether cloaks are OP is by the by. I still believe there should be a module / bubble (like a gravometric pulse bubble) which decloaks people in it but its for CCP to decide. This is because Cloaks are unmatched and have no countermeasure. Then again the same can be said for other mechanics in the game as well.

I think this and several other related problems could be solved by making a serverside trigger in which after 1 hour of inactivity, a character loses various abilities they would have while active, such as holding an anomaly open, auto-repeating module cycles, or remaining cloaked. So you could still hold the anomaly open, but you'd have to click or move the mouse once every hour to keep it open as well as to stay cloaked. So if someone wants to do it overnight, they'll have to either achieve a polyphasic sleep cycle or work shifts with another person.

Any "oh have cloaks use fuel" idea falls on it's head when you think about viators, prowlers etc. They can get blops bridged in, cloak for 2 weeks, blops bridged out to refuel. All zero risk too after you're inside once, since covop cynos own like that.
But hey, don't listen to the guys who know what they're talking about. Let's whine about some anomaly not despawning and baww about not getting your 10mil isk because someone expended the effort of cloaking inside your anomaly. I mean, with dominion the belt rats are completely gone now, they don't exist anymore. You totally can't rat those for isk. ---

Sounds to me like people want to see this as one of two problems:
a) Complexes are broken. b) Cloaks are broken.
I'd like to suggest that it's a - not b.
Personally, I don't ever afk-cloak in 0.0 - I live in low sec. However, I do a lot of exploration in low sec and w-space. I sit in space staring at the system map, sometimes for 30 minutes straight if the damned things are plentiful and hard to scan down. If I decide to go have a pee, make coffee and have a cigarette too, well, it can be even longer. I do not want my cargo hold full of bulky/expensive fuel. I don't want my cloak to silently fail at random intervals. Nerfing my wallet, nerfing my cargo space, forcing me to obsessively glare at my cloak icon and take away my possibilities of going to take a ****...? These are not good ideas to "deal with the afk cloaker problem"! - and there is no problem as far as I can see anyway. Leave it alone! Not everything has to be an excuse to push the nerf-cloaking agenda. Personally, I'd sooner nerf local than cloaking. That way you won't be scared any more.
The obvious problem is that the damned sites should be spawning properly regardless of afk cloakers. Clearly this is an exploit, so make proper bug reports and start filing complaints against all of them. Let CCP deal with it.

trust this to be a goon answer, being that its there fail corp mates that are AFK cloaking...i thought goons used to be good and kill people now you have to resort to AFK tactics, bad times

I lold really hard IRL at this.
Also, as I already pointed out you can still chain belt rats. They (should) spawn a lot more often in upgraded systems.
