I can't fly one yet, but thought of investing.
But my problem is, what if I have to leave EVE for a month or something. Or I just need to be away for awhile. How do you protect something you can't dock?
You can't take it to empire can you? What do you do?

Going to Prison?
Anyways move your ship to a spot in space that's > 150km away from anything like planets, stations, belts, POS, etc. log out and in 2min (?) it gets removed from the active game but is still yours. |

You don't buy a super carrier with your own ISK unless YOU can pilot it.
You let your alliance buy it, and once you can fly it, you steal it. --Vel

You have/make/buy a dedicated pilot for it, different from your main. THAT pilot will never willingly eject from the supercapital, only ever get out of it on the SC's destruction. Immaterial ships (disappearing on logoff) are quite well protected. _

The answer is very short and simple, and Akita gave it, but in a rather round-about way:
Log out in it. --------------------------------------------

Always amuses me to see people enquiring in NC about supercarriers and titans. Even asking about them early in the game means you haven't quite got Eve yet.
