Air raid sirens? Is there an all out war going on in the system or something?
Interesting update just the air raid sirens got annoying after five or six times, I guess Caldari stations are going to be as annoying as Amarr ones now.

I noticed this too - was going to post a new comment if there wasn't one already.
PLEASE get rid of the air raid sirens !!! The new background sounds are good, but this is really obnoxious after just a short while |

Well it's not like they even should be used on a continuous basis. You are supposed to give a warning to people and then give another signal when the danger has passed. In the between some announcements over the intercom and/or slowly blinking red warning lights should suffice to remind people the danger isn't over yet.
Although I would prefer a klaxon with some visual signs of the alarm over what we have, the current one isn't all that bad. It is mostly just a background noice, so it could have been much worse.

The air raid siren might be something CCP plans to use as a background sound for stations that are in systems with active incursions. Just a thought...
Wouldn't mind this to be used on reinforced stations in 0.0 eighter, and mabye an even more "critical sounding" one if the station is currently under attack... Again. Just a thought |

If there is really a Klaxon sound in the stations I will quit both of my two accounts.
Just my two cents, CCP.

what?
probably because it sounds just like an air raid siren in some song (Disturbed maybe) and they can't tell the difference between one or the other. |

Looks like someone from CCP was on a trip in czech rep and recorded a bunch of anouncements from the railway stations as well, cause that's what I hear in the backgrounds of those sirens.
Hope I'm not going crazy
