From what I understand, rockets are quite decent now. This is my first time flying Caldari and I'm noticing a huge lack of powergrid. Reactor controls don't seem to help enough, especially on the Kestrel. So what are some fitting options that people can recommend from experience? |

You just discovered the first step to a VERY LONG PATH of disappointment and fitting issues with the caldari race.

Easy solution: CCP can remove the obsolete tier system, and buff the Kestrel and Caracal with better fittings along with the various other broken/worthless t1 ships.

Everyone else has CPU issues. Amarr have both.

MAPC - Micro Auxiliary Power Core will help your kestrel. Caracal won't have grid problem if you use assault missile launchers instead of heavies.

Big difference between "Damn can't fit another gyro, will have to put a nano/TE" vs. "Oh I can't have top tier weapons and a MWD."
Try putting a neut + torps + mwd on a raven and let me know how it works out for you.
Or HML + MWD on a caracal.
Or medium neut + HAM + MWD on a drake
It goes on and on...and on...

YES PLEASE. Tech 2 does it right, you have a force recon and a combat recon. A tackle inty and a battle inty, A field command ship and a battle command ship, a gank AF, a heavy tackle AF.
