There should be a guide at the top of this forum. There are also a number of existing threads were people have answered this question with in the last week or so.
Basically you need a BPO or BPC minerals, some skills and a production slot.
Have look at the Ammo BPO's on the market and you can also have a play on sisi were everything it cheap and will not effect your normal game. Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congratulated by carebears for the actions. |

and it helps if you have the right crafting bag/s so you have more bag space and you dont have to dig through 4 bags and that dinky backpack to find back what you just made.
/WoW puns
"Crafting" is aparently part of the whole incarna stuff in that we can aparently make clothes and maybee other items for that.

Edited by: Keta Fraal on 08/01/2011 00:44:36 As you can see, most if not all the experienced players on the forums are going to give any newbs a hard time getting a straight answer unless you do your homework before posting.
If you were to google "eve online (whatyouarelookingfor)" you would find lots of answers. And since googling and spreadsheeting is basically what you will be doing before you venture any isk into the effort, you may as well start now before you ask all the wrong questions and get the most entertaining answers.
EDIT:
P.S. The first step is to look up "eve online manufacturing", then get evemon. --------------------------------------- Completely ignore any whining that is not toilet orientated. |

Actually, I think you'll find that most EVE players will be reluctant to bother helping someone who:
a) calls it "crafting" b) apparently wants everythings spoonfed to him to such a degree that he can't even be bothered to read the STICKY AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM c) calls it "crafting"
A significant subset will also find his typing style kind of a turnoff. There is no zed in "skills", and we are not fourteen-year-olds discussing our Tony Hawk plans.
Frankly, I'm surprised he's had any helpful replies at all.
@OP: If you're not willing to do any research work yourself, manufacturing will not end well for you. Start with reading the sticky at the top of the forum, then ask questions.
But never, ever call it crafting. We don't craft here. We mass-produce in a soulless, industrial fashion, applying no loving personalised care, crushing the very concept of craftsmanship under the weight of our production chains.

As long as I've been playing EVE, I've never seen anyone craft anything. I must be doing it wrong.

Edited by: Brock Nelson on 08/01/2011 03:24:20 Son, I was making kraft dinner tonight and then I saw someone posted here saying that they wanted to try out krafting in here but then I misread the thread title and went back to doing my business as a fine kraft eater and now, I'm ****ed because I found out that some kid who mistakenly installed world of craft for the last 5 years and is now in my goddamn game.
So in conclusion, I'm not enjoying my kraft dinner

You MUST use proper terminology here ore ure toast m8.
Its MANUFACTURING.
And it self explanatory.
Basics are:
1) All "ingredients" are printed on blueprint 2) All basic materials are acquired via: mining, PI, moon mining 3) All materials for T1 production are acquired via: mining 4) You can buy anything you want on open market
and last, most important:
0) NEVER ASK WHAT IS PROFITABLE TO MANUFACTURE - it changes (sooner or later) and noone will tell you because it will change sooner if they do ;)
GL
Regards
I.
P.S.
WoW terminology is THE worst you can use here, even tho everyone understands what you really meant - noone will answer, trust me :D

Everything is cheap.. most of the time. All items are 100 ISK per unit which means that large amounts of minerals will be a problem.

He's not signing up to a dating site.. jeez.
No but spelling and punctuation matter.
``Don't eat, Grandma!'' is very very different than ``Don't eat grandma!'' The first is direct to Grandma not to eat, the second is direction not to eat Grandma.
Or for example, ``I would help my Uncle Jack off a horse.'' versus ``I would help my uncle jack off a horse.'' The first is about helping my Uncle Jack get down from a horse whereas the second is about helping my uncle do something nasty to a horse.
So, no this is not a dating site, but use of proper grammar and punctuation is important.
Having said that, I want to make it clear that I am not above making an error here and there. Everyone pulls a boner from time to time. (Bah-dum-ching!)

Buy a BS or larger ship for 100 isk in a station with reprocessing facilities and reprocess it. You will get plenty of minerals.
