Natester Hopeless Miners	Posted - 2011.01.09 03:17:00 - [1] tl;dr - 4 month old can flipper taunts almost 5 year old carebear (Me) for leaving after almost killing his Ishkur to refit a ship, loses a Harbinger and his friend loses a Wolf to my passive tanked and generally fail fit Raven (Will provide fittings) and tried to blow it off in local. Despite how hard I laughed, and I still am, he never really raged despite my attempts in local to get him going, though his sticks & stones attitude made me think he was crying at his keyboard. Local Chat Log --- Anyway... I was surfing away reading the news when a friend with whom I share a second account XFire'd me about him getting can flipped by a guy in an Ishkur. I logged in, grabbed a frig eating Rokh with ~144k EHP (Rokh Fit), formed fleet, and warped to 0km on said friend. By the time I had gotten there the flipper had left and destroyed the full can. With much dismay, my buddy and I were kind of annoyed so I kept the Rokh there and went back to surfing, keeping Eve open while I did so half expecting the can flipper to come back. Less than a minute later he did, and in his Ishkur. Now, in the rush to get to the belt, I had failed to properly fit a tackle to the Rokh and simply had a Disruptor II with no Webifier. I was, however, confident my 2x Heavy Neuts would keep him from using an AB/MW to get out of my range before my T2 Drones, 150 Railgun IIs and T2 Rockets would have my way with him. Sadly, despite staggering the Neuts, he was able to cap. boost (I'm assuming) and AB to get past 24km before my drones could eat through his hull, which they were 2/3 of the way through. Despite his character's young age, I was at least smart enough to expect his return in something else I really wasn't fit for. I went back to station, when just as expected he arrived back at the belt with a Harbinger, and worst of all he taunted me for leaving. Knowing that a character created in the middle of September couldn't possibly fit anything well, I fail fit my Raven the only way I knew how... with 6x T2 Cruise, 2x Heavy Neut, Webifier, Disruptor, and best of all... A PASSIVE TANK, and a bad one at that (See the failtank). So I undock with the full knowledge that he's probably got friends waiting to jump in and warp back to the system. He's not there anymore, but there's a Wolf right next to one of my cans. I begin targeting the Wolf, which takes a lovely 20 seconds and approach him. Just as I get lock on the Wolf, the dumby in the Harbinger shows up and opens fire, barely scratching my shields with his first volley from T1 weapons. Thankfully I targeted the Wolf when I did, because he begins locking on and shooting. I release T2 Med drones and they eat through the Wolf in less than 10 seconds, boom goes the Wolf. My T2 Wrath cruise missiles finish off the Harbinger after a minute or so. I laughed hard, took the loot, and went back to station. Local Chat Log Thx.

Also, confirming it's very nearly an exploit to be able to run an afterburner on an assault frigate when you are getting neuted every 10 or 15 seconds? EDIT: I give this story a 2/10

Considering you were fighting a 5 month old character in a 5 year one in a raven with dual neuts (which completely screws harbinger/wolf). Shame that you show them such lack of respect for engaging against the odds. Also, account sharing is against the EULA. ---
