Edited by: Selinate on 09/01/2011 04:02:04 Is it wise to tell possible recruits what system you're planning on taking in the very near future?
I was just asking if there are any active merc corps willing to take me in Corp Recruitment to see what comes up, and one guy convo's me, tells me that his alliance is blue to such and such alliance, and that they're going to take a 0.0 system tonight, and told me the location of the system and such.
I found it rather odd, personally. I would think it's a security problem...
Also, for those interested, the alliance is The Darkness Rising and the 0.0 area is near A-ELE2.... Near IT space. I know, the system itself is Blood Raider territory, but I figured he might be moving in somewhere close..

Thats a very good question. The short answer is yes in theory.
Practically speaking though no. Simply put the game mechanics are just not favorable for large scale implementation of such a thing thus not many pvp corps do it. Remember that eve is very computationally intensive (and even more so database intensive). I dont think that ccp has a priority on changing the game mechanics slightly to accomodate such a thing at this moment with their plate full with Incarna and what not. Will we see it in the future? possibly but not today.

Originally, there was no question because I hit the enter key without realizing it. There wasn't a question to begin with. Now there is. The question itself isn't "Radically changed".

Of course not because when God said "Let there be light" and created Man and Earth and whatnot, it really wasn't much of a change.

Comparing me to God? I'm flattered.
Just because he changed the universe with man, doesn't mean he changed man at the same instant. Your logic has failed.
