Gunna be getting into carriers in about 200 days and I was browsing the fits for a fleet chimera and this is what i "came up with" (stole lol) dont know if it needs any work or if it is out of date
Highs 2x Capital shield transporters 1x Energy transfer 1x Heavy unstable power fluctuator 1x True sansha emp smartbomb
Mids 2x t2 invuln fields 1x capital shield booster 1x t2 shield amp 1x t2 sensor booster with scan res. script 1x t2 cap recharger 1x conjunctive grav ECCM scanning array
Lows 4x True sansha CPRs
Rigs 3x CCCs
Now i think it might be a bit heavy on the faction stuff but since it is an expensive ship would they be worth it? Otherwise suggestions or should I just scrap the fit all together?

I can't pilot one yet, but...
These days if you become a target, you are dead.
Unless you are ratting with it, or doing site escalations in w-space, don't bother with faction in my opinion.
The fit really depends on the fleet and the use. If there are other carriers, they should be repping you, unless you are in a thousand ship lag-fest.
The larger the fleet, the less likely you are to need ECCM, unless you are on a POS takedown.
Your alliance probably has a standard fit that is preferred.

Faction-fitting what is probably going to be suicided at some point repping a POS or station isn't wise...

I am only now jumping into a carrier, and i think a fit like this is pretty good.
To begin with, limit your carrier to repping stuff... POSs and POS modules (or an outpost).
In such cases, going for some resists and alot of cap with RR in the highs is the way to go, as long as you can safe up easily.

you can replace the 4 faction cap power relays with the beta reactor control power relays. the only difference is -1% less cap recharge for each relay mod (-4% total) and the fact that 4 faction mods cost around 25 million each.
Not sure about the eccm. personally i have a second t2 cap recharger to help with cap. but thats just me. everything else looks pretty good.

Your setup is pretty sensible, just skip the faction. Also a damage control might be sensible, dependant of what you are actually doing with it. If you have more than few carriers that can shield transfer with you just drop the boost amp for cap recharger and try to squeeze in the damage control instead. There are hardwires btw that can help with cap regen as well. 3% ones do not cost the arm and leg and can help a bit. There is some also for lowering the capacitor need of remote shield transfer modules - I'm not 100% certain but I think they were affecting the capital remote shield transfer mods as well.

Fit a Damage Control II in low. You dont use both rr and local rep, choose one. (which would be rr for pvp). I use faction smartbomb, the extra range is nice, otherwise mainly tech II fit is just fine. At some point train for triage, a triage chimera is nber for POS repping.
