I am but a simple fighter. I once called my home CA space. From its ashes now I try to scrape a living. Sometimes I venture into GW and see old friends firing upon each other. I see little value or profit to be gained.
It will teach pilots to fight, it will teach pilots how to die for the cause. It sharpens the corps - and they shed their fat. Beyond that what do you wish to accomplish?
Will M.Corp and good Velios leave what has always been their home? Or the The Organ Grinder and Company leave what has always been their home?
I see old friends, those I like, or those who I have respect for - M. Corp, Dental Drilling Corporation, The Organ Grinder and Company, Alcatraz Inc and British Space Corp at each others throats.
I see them alongside those I have no respect for. As a neutral, no I won't fire. You argue here, and you empty your guns at each other. What do you achieve?
I would ask both sides to learn. Learn what corps you face every day, and what corps stand by yourside in battle - and not just here. Those that will bring supplies into the front line. They are the ones to trust. Remember those that say they are busy, or hide in the shadows enriching themselves while others die. I remember them, I'm suprised Shinra or Supremacy don't seem too. Banish them - for they are a wieght around your neck - and apart from the noise they make here - their loss will not be missed.
From that, bind The Foundation and The Keiretsu into something greater. A force where there aren't 300 of you and only 20 fighting while others make their fortunes while you are bled dry. I believe some of you have already started to see that trend.
Make peace and strong links with the Ushra'Khan. The Ushra'Khan are warriors with honour and understand duty. It is wrong to try to bring them in on either side - before a promise can be kept.
Yes the Wildlands should be free. But true freedom comes at a price. A price that you are spilling your blood for right now. It is a corridor world to and from empire from deep space. Red Alliance is there - and they will require passage.
The question is - at what point does this get crossed? I'll die for a friend. But how often will you die for a friend when he gets rich and gives nothing in return? How much harder is that when it is a stranger?
If any of you get around a table and talk that one through, I would love to be there.
I am but a simple fighter where pointing a gun and dropping the hammer is the easy way. If any of you want to walk that harder path of diplomacy, I will give you all that I can as a pilot - and a friend.
