I wish we have a function that when you right click on someone in jita who scams, it has the function "Report Scammer", and if enough people do that, he will be gag for a hour from all posting in local.

And no, this suggestion will never happen. Scamming is (unfortunately) fully legit in Eve. Learn to deal with it, complaining about it will not help.

You realize asking that only fuels their need to do so, right?

They can scam as much as they want, but I wish they stopped spamming.

Supported. You shouldn't be required to hear them, just as you're not required to fall to their scams.

Thankfully there are four (at least) mechanisms to accomplish this already.

1. Select Local Channel Tab 2. Right click, blink off. 3. Move intel/corp/alliance/water cooler channel over it 4. ??? 5. PROFIT!!!!
Did that over a year ago, haven't looked back. No real reason to look at local in highsec anyway unless you are wardeced, looking for a particular target with an alt, or want to give your money away to obvious scams because anything made in a contract just screams for attention when its repeatedly linked.

Precisely, I only look at local if necessary or if I'm in need of amusement while flying between locations. I certainly never look at it in trade hubs, that's like mental self harm.

Scams are a part of EvE. Live with it. Learn to embrace the scam. Unless ofcourse that scam has to do with being tricked in to giving your login info away. Inwhich you wont get no sympathy from me but will agree with a simular button being installed to report real scams. As for reporting spammers there is a way to do that. right click on the offender and select either block or report. Problem solved. you will never hear or see that person in the covo again. BTW I scam a lot in this game but I will never conduct a scam that will harm someone in r/l. People should either be shot or made to hang around for a while. With an emphasis on hang. Be the kind of man that when your feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says "Oh crap, he's up!"

I think there should be an option to ignore local. Not turn the blink off, but completely ignore it.
Whether the channel is up or not, you are still getting sent all the spam, it all goes through the client whether you have the channel open or not. I like to keep chat logs, but one day in Jita and the chat logs get HUGE in size.
I just want to be able to completely ignore the channel, and not receive any updates or information from it. Better yet, let me opt out of it and close it like you can constellation chat. I would be satisfied with that ability.
