Edited by: Vak''ran on 11/01/2011 00:44:57 you might wanna look up the empyrian age by tony gonzales as well. I havent read the burning life yet, but gonzales' novel was a very decent read, first time I ever read scifi based on an established IP, the way you picture every ship and space scene when you know what it all looks like is pretty cool.

I hated the Burning Life.
I've stated elsewhere that the book is not a Story in EVE. It's a discount package tour of EVE. No characters, no plot, just the tour.
The protagonist arrives at the scene, gets shown around, then gets whisked away to the next location on a plot contrivance.
It only ends because they ran out of pirate factions and empires.
Empyream Age, as flawed as it is , is a far superior book. While it might be slightly disjointed, there is a constant theme that the cluster is going to hell and your watching it as it happens. I can empathize more with each individual character and actually cared.
and further more why do i even need a sig? |

I liked BL because I got into it pretty easily and it wasn't such a bad story, if a bit lacking were as EA took me a while to really get hooked.
But then again at the end of EA I felt more fulfilled with eve fiction... and had a burning hatred for Tibus Heth

HAH...forget it. I tell ya people, EVE store is still a scam. Buy a 10$ book and pay 80 $ for shipping.
