If during a mission you happen to destroy a ship containing saves, do you make the effort to pick them up and drop them off at a station in system, or do you leave them to their fate and move on?

I always take them to the nearest station so that one day I may free them.

What a conundrum...
Risk your standings or feel good about how much of a Hero you are. Considering it's just a game I would not risk the standings..
But then again I am Amarr so it depends on the current market price of Minmatar sl.. *er -umm "employees". First and Former North American Director of <FROG MORTON IND.> |

Depends on the RP value of your game. If you gain some satisfaction by role playing, then even the Amarr, who loathe slaves, have an obligation to care and protect them.
On the other hand, CCP seems to have taken a very strange stance on the issue and eliminated that part of it so even if you were a "good samaritan", you're likely to get the slaves confiscated and a hefty fine in certain space. |

I always rescue the slaves. In fact, I'm so nice, I transport them across the galaxy for gainful employment with my research agent.
I know they're happy there - none of them ever leave.

I always bring them to the nearest station. No chance on getting cought (no gates ;) ) and you'll never know if in the future they can be transported :)

Why bother, they're automatically set free after an hour in space. The air is a wee bit thin but hey, thats not my problem.

I usually set them free with a wraith cruise missle.

I would deliver them to a station, but as it stands, carrying slaves in your hold is illegal in Caldari territory. What a pity that so many must die to uphold a foolish law.

As long as there are no customs agents outside the station you are safe... I've moved tons of drugs and slaves from missions to my home station and never had a problem. Now if you try to gate with them in your hold, that's another story.

Prior to Shiva I would always rescue them. Now I always leave them in the can.

Once my own faction destroyed my ship after I had freed some slaves. I don't think that slaves have a clone. Poor slaves. Felt the freedom but were killed by their own race on the same day. Nasty.

Before I found out I could actually trade them for profit within Amarr space I usally used to empty the cans with the slaves in, leave the slaves behind and then use the can for target practice.
