I have noticed more 0.0 corps and alliances roaming in faction warfare space. Recently in the amarr and minimitar militia faction area we have had engagements with dark rising using there cap fleet, evoke running around in faction battleships, and even the NC, joining in on the fun to get into some pvp. I was just wondering if there is a main reason for the 0.0 alliances to be roaming in the militia's space other then good pvp and fun.

As for the caldari/gallente area... there are tech moons around black rise. I hear that FCON got mad at the gallente militia after we chased their POS bashing fleet around for an entire afternoon in frigates and later BC's and are now "punishing" us by sending in roaming gangs.

Seeing more FCON, Severance and other NC gangs roaming the Western Placid region. (Maut to Mantenault to Aldranette) with some venturing "east" to Nisuwa and Notoras. There are several who are hanging out in Alparena area full time.
This all makes sense since their base in Pure Blind (RQH) borders Mantenault and the closest hi sec market is Osmeden/Orvolle.
Not sure if they are doing the same in Black Rise, but we spotted a gang in Akidagi/Nenna this weekend.

EDIT: ALSO THE NEW PORTRAITS ARE FREAKY AND X-GAL LOOKS LIKE JESUS!

In other recent news, Super carrier drops seem to be becoming unnervingly common in the last week or so
recently 3 IT alliance supercarriers were deployed in kedama to assist an SoT fleet and a PL supercarrier was deployed alongside 5 ADHD supercarriers in Old Man Star. Both in fights against EUTZ Gallente faction warfare fleets
As to where these escalations will end well, It's gonna be fun to find out ... Some1's gonna lose super caps (and it aint gonna be us) Don't believe the hype! |

Just don't forget that even if you do manage to trap hostile SC, he can always log out and disappear in 15 minutes. Without SC of your own, without 200+ blob of battleships and HACs, you simply won't do enough damage to finish it.

Personally speaking i think its great seeing some of the 0.0 boys visiting our space, although i dont think any of us FW dwellers want to see too many (if at all) supercaps gettinhg involved in fights though.
By all means bring fleets to fight us with (As Rooks & Kings do fairly often, and deserve props for the way they handle themselves and also how they respect there oponents) but if it becomes a regular occurence that supers get used then either 2 things will happen - 1) You wont get fights out of us or 2) Theres gonna be massive wtfbbqpwnage when batphones collide and a massive cluster**** ensues.
The EU TZ in our part of space has been very very busy the last few weeks with a lot fleets rolling our way - more of the same please, but leave the supers at home, we are FW noobs who cant fight there way outta paper bags dont forget :)

Boredom is a powerful motivator, just proves that there is a limit to just how much spinning is possible before going bonkers.
Hopefully CCP is working on a fix for the joke that is sovereignty so the null-folk get something to do other than blob the crap out of each other every two days (or however long a given RF timer is).

Supercapitals shouldn't be allowed to even enter low-sec, period. Gameplay reason: With bubbles not available they are nigh impossible to pin down unless its a bait-trap and one has a bazillion HICs standing by. RP Reason: They are super-caps for Goddess sake, weapons of war and mass destruction. What sane government would want potentially hostile WMD's parked on the porch (Cuban missile crisis anyone? ).

So how exactly would a powerbloc move their supercapitals around from one side of the universe to the other, if they couldn't go through losec?
Seriously. The problems for supercaps can't be solved with "don't let them in my losec"

And it is the job of the militia to remove that WMD

Goddess forbid that moving a huge blobby invasion fleet should require planning, coordination and possible sacrifice .. lazy .. null is lazy!

I think he means strategically move assets. You wouldn't want to be moving your super caps thru a neutral sov blob in order to hit the 3rd sov blob that is your intended target. The neutral sov blob might take your move as a prelude to invasion and ally with the 3rd sov blob who is your real enemy. Much more sensible to move it through lawless space controlled really by no one.
That and low sec is usually the shorter route and people hate multiple jumps.

Sometimes blobby fleets like to show off their blobbyness to those less able to blob?
I'm pretty sure FW guys get a kick out of coming into a system with like 20 guys and making the 5 local pirates dock up, so whats the problem?

I am talking about tens if not hundreds of capital assets being able to move across the cluster in less time than it takes to load the Jita 4-4 grid on a Saturday evening.
Look at the preparations needed in modern war, even with planes, trains and automobiles available, takes months. The idea that you can go bonk heads and be home for tea and biscuits is warped beyond comprehension.
