Since updating with the patch, i have been unable to see any neutral player with the = or white background/color tag? I can see reds, alliance, corp and fleet members, and yellow players... but no neutral.. All i see are brackets?? I have checked all the overview settings and everything is as it should be, but still no neutral color tag or background?
Any Ideas?

Also, for those that uncheck neutrals so that they do not show in overview at all... for high sec war dec's, well neutrals still currently showing in overview. Very bad for high sec pvpers. I have confirmed this bug with other corpmates.
Dev's, please fix this soon, and sooner than soon(tm).
Request to OP... please change topic name... list as bug to get devs attention.

Got the same problem, very annoying. The '=" sign isn't also visible in local. I hope they will fix this soon!

This is a pretty big bug - how does something like this get through testing???
I haven't seen any fix related to it in today's patch notes either - what's going on here CCP?

Has anyone raised a pertition?
I really think the whole overview should have been revamped ages ago!

I raised a petition on Patch day... Apparently it's a known issue and they are working on it

I filed a bug report (#106082) yesterday, too. Included in the response from BH Newmind was: "This is an intended design implementation. You are welcome and encouraged to post feedback on the forums."
So, I will add to this thread and implore CCP to reinstate the neutral icon for local chat. It's far too useful in null-sec to remove!

Don't be fooled, they just screwed up the implementation. Whole OV settings are not working. OFC intended :)

If it was intended, then why doesnt everybody in my corp have the same problem.

(I posted the following on the official feedback thread)
RE: Neutrals on Overview
It is awkward now to require an explicit neutral contact to see neutrals on the overview. I believe that more than 99% of the time, people set contacts either positive or negative, based on some recent experience with a player or corp, but rarely would anyone explicitly set a neutral contact. Furthermore the ability to filter the overview based on (what formerly was assumed) neutrality is now removed.
I propose a new check-box option: "Assume no contact is neutral" (default yes)
This would maintain the new functionality while enabling us to assume neutrality (as before). Please consider this. Thanks.

I had this same bug but I noticed when I add a neutral to my contact list the old grey tag appears. Obviously you cant add every person to your contacts list but maybe this will give the Devs a start place to work from

Oh fun times
If this was intended, then why isnt everyone effected. Myself and another corp member are having the same issue. Everyone else still sees the neutral tag. We do not... If it were to change, then why were we not told...?
I also asked the one of the GM's yesterday if there had been any further development on it. I recieved a reply stating that they cannot tell me details but they are still working on the issue.
Im leaning toward the "oops... somethings gone wrong" personally. Intended or not.

I hope it's resolved soon. |

This is really making it difficult to play the game anymore. There are plenty of times running missions where you get jumped and there is so much stuff on the overview without having the background color available on the overview for neutrals, they just blend into the noise... Very bad...
