I saw your thread in the Mac forum I don't know how much work would be required to create a Mac Sisi Launcher. I'll ask tomorrow and see what I can find out.

well please do something about Mac users, none of us were able to participate in the mass test today and last patch had to wait a day or two for a new patch. Angels of Death EVE Corporation is Recruiting New and Old Pilots!!! |

Edited by: Blue Shift on 11/02/2011 00:39:17 Not sure if this is the right forum or not but.
I got bored a few months back and created my own instead of waiting. Its a perl script however and only runs on Snow Leopard unless you want to install extra perl modules to make it work. I only spent an hour or so on it so it could probably be made to work on Leopard but I can't be bothered to personally. I think Archive::Extract is missing from the 5.8.8 system perl on Leopard, can't remember what module was missing.
Works fine for me, rsync's my tranquility install over the top of my singularity install, munges Info.plist to point to singularity and then snags the latest mac download that goes from tq to singularity and then extracts it and starts up the patcher app and uses applescript to click the buttons away.
Couple of things, yeah its command line, but open up automator if you want gui-ification for it. As it is it suits me just fine. But yeah it means you need to have 2 copies of the game in ~/Applications named Tranquility.app and Singularity.app.
But I put arguments in for it if you want to change it, --help for info. Just something I built while I was patching something at work watching text fly by.
Caveat emptor, I can throw it up on github proper as an actual project if people want to hack on it. Its not my best perl, I'll assume anyone using this has an idea of what Terminal.app is and does. If you don't this isn't likely the tool for you.
Example run (the gui part works, or does for me at least, but that happens after it exits from running osascript. The applescript part took me the longest, and caused me to drink heavily after trying to figure out that abomination of a scripting language.

And put it up as a gist on github at https://gist.github.com/821685
Hope someone finds a bit of use for it.
