Iv done a few incursions now, and I must say the difficulty is unbelievable. The first fleet I built up struggled to do much of anything, so I joined a blob fleet of well over 100 ships, and we managed to do 1 hq site, but got ****d on the second. Im leaving the fight now, and Sansha are slowly gaining system contol and now im wondering, what happens when Sansha wins ?

Seems fine to me. We have done 2 HQ sites one with 40 members and one with 38. It's really pretty easy as long as everyone in fleet pays attention.
Most fun I have had in eve in a long time. Now just fix rewards please! |

Edited by: Major MouseTrap on 26/01/2011 02:46:15 Sansha will go to the Pub drink beer and share picture of your blown up ship and spray paint loser's on are stations in that system then leave in a week with there loot.............

I would be kinda interesting if they actually blew up stations. but like, that would also be really bad.

If they win, all the stations in the system explode, killing everything within a light year.

There really ought to be some major penalty.
I'd even go as far as to say the penalty could be actual enslavery by them where you would be required to get some thing, or things, done before you would be allowed back into your corp. Until that happens...

This. Average Hi-sec carebear will never be smart or organized enough to organize well structured gang. And Incursions ARE directed at carebears, PVPers don't give a **** about them.
If CCP will think from business perspective, they must nerf it.

Why bother nerfing them... We've had one day of real Incursions so far (as opposed to the live events) and lots of people have found ways to run the sites. It won't be long before people start to organise, devise optimal fleets and form themselves into specialised groups - like WH corps the organised ones will profit and the disorganised ones collapse. The only concerns I have ATM are the agro/GCC mechanics and the perceived issue of reward sniping. --

They'll try and run it a few time and give up and never return after they get concorded cause the dude they are at least attempting to help by remote repping drops fleet and has his alt steal there loot. This entire concept is fail from the start given the griefer nature of most pvp pilots in empire. I fail. |

I personally enjoy Incursions a lot. You see, my main line of busines is ninjaing. Some juicy loot recovered yesterday for 5 noobships lost.
Now if you don't have any intelligent stuff to say, please don't.
The fact is that only very small percentage of EVE high-sec playerbase will manage to do sites properly. Rest will burn and will be dissatisfied. That's not what a profit-oriented company would want.
Thus logical step would be to nerf incursions. Not a lot, make them still pretty challenging, but not at current levels.

after one day i'm beginning to see some fleets rip through these without losing a ship. ...maybe these will become too easy for high end content after people learn how to do them.

No logical step would be you adapting to this new content like others have done rather than crying nerf after less than 24 hours of trying.

Because of the fact that you can loot those dead Nightmares and Golems, as you posted in another thread, for billions.
No reason to pay further attention to you .

Reading is too difficult task for you?
I have not and do not intend to run any Incursions. I am solo player. But I have been in the sites (stealing) and have seen how difficult for average carebear they are. I do not believe most of them will adapt. Thus I believe it would be the best for the game if sites were a bit easier. You know, bigger playerbase and such stuff.

So, are you the same guy who whined two weeks straight after CCP announced learning skill removal?
When sleepers came, everyone went mad. They were unbeatable. Now? Players farm sleepers 23/7.
In incursions, you have to fit the fleet like you would go into PVP... Adapt or cry.

Their loss if they cannot be bothered to put in the effort. Why should people who do enjoy this content suffer for the lazy?
Plenty of AFK pve for the lazy time for some harder stuff for those of us who want a good fight.

I think its funny that the pvp'rs are doing better at this then pve'rs are.
Guess it comes with the territory of actually having a pair.

Actually the average carebear is smart enough. As a lot of them are in NPC corps or single player corps they are smart enough to know this is Eve and as such not to trust anyone. If they can't trust anyone how do you expect them to get organised.

They dont have to be easier. I was forced to join with randoms being in such a small (insert the word carebear here) corp but luckily I ended up with a great bunch such as Zeewack above and they are quite easy if you have the right tactics and setups. However what they do need to fix is the rewards for such efforts and the amount of Sansha influence regain as its too steep imo.

The one good thing out of Sanshas is the PVP and PVE crowds are actually meeting each other for longer than the standard gate camp 3 seconds and boom.Sure they still hate each other, but they can band together to gripe about CCP. Thats gotta be a bonus.
