If you are in a cap ship and tackled by a normal warp disruptor/scram (Not a HIC point or a bubble), can you still jump to a cyno if you have the appropriate number of WCS fitted? I know you can warp off but I don't know if you can use a jumpdrive.
I'm just curious in case I were to engage a 'possibly bait' battleship on a station with my carrier, and a gank dread squad jumps in to melt me before the 60sec aggression timer is up. Could I then jump out if the bait ship has scram on me but I have 2WCS fitted, for instance? (Assume a cyno alt fleeted and in a nearby system)

If you fit warp stabs to a capital, you deserve to be infinipointed and killed by a fleet of noob ships.

It's called a travel fit, now go back under your bridge.
OP: If you are pointed in a capital, you cannot jump or warp unless you have the appropriate number of stabs fitted.
If you are pointed in a super capital (Mothership ... titan?) you can jump and warp no matter how many points are on you.
If you are infinipointed by a HIC in a capital, you cannot jump or warp.
If you are infinipointed by a HIC in a super-capital, you cannot jump or warp.

If you had 2WCS fitted, and he had a scram on you, yes you should be able to jump out. I would wager they would not be expecting that. However, I would also wager they would have a HIC in close proximity. It probably is a bait battleship, and they probably have enough equipment on standby to make certain they get your kill.

You're a clueless noob You should always keep warp corp stabs in your hangar / cargo so you can refit on other capitals in space should you need to.

so, u are tackled by some recon, cyno in another capital, both refit on each other with wcs's and jump out to same cyno?
Easy peasy.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote: "For me EvE wasn't that much fun, many ppl refer to it as a nicely designed database front-end and that |

You can't be pointed in a mothership. Only hictors can warp disrupt supercapitals, or a dictor bubble itself. In that case none of your other statements mattered.

Please tell me you didn't just say that...
Travel fits for carriers should be 4 hardeners, 1-2 EANMs, and lots of cap mods, and a cyno on a station at 0, at the very least.
If you are not traveling via a station, you are doing it wrong.

Right ... because all systems in Eve have stations and all possible combinations of routes from A->B have stations at every jump point.
I am going to assume you have never actually flown a capital before.

If you engage a 'possibly bait' battleship (or any combat ship, bait or not) with a travel fit carrier you deserve to be killed by a fleet of noobships If you fit stabs to a pvp carrier, see previous comment
