Can someone please explain the the LP reward system for Incursions. I read this. Still don't quite understand the exact formulas, etc. Don't quite understand how solo pilots are effected either. Any help would be appreciated. |

You have to be in a fleet of a specific amount of ships to get LP's and rewards for completing the different Incursion sites, can't do it solo.

Easy peasy:
ParticipantInBiggestDamageBLOB = 0 by default EffortModifier = 1 ArbitraryBonus = 1
IncursionLPHandoutAmount = ParticipantInBiggestDamageBLOB x (EffortModifier x 0.0001) / SystemSecurity + RND(ArbitraryBonus x 0.1)

My math skills are notoriously poor, but it looks like your formula will always equal zero. I'm assuming its a bit of sarcasm.
So, it is pointless to do it solo? Does that mean truly solo? Or can I 'form a fleet of one'? How about form a fleet with an alt like for sharing mission standings (in which case, does it have to be present in the site, in the system, or anywhere)?
How is the fleet 'winner' determined? Is it a simple majority of the total possible damage in one encounter and they 'win' that particular site? Or must they 'win' all of the sites in a system? Or the preponderance of sites in a system? Or even the constellation? Does that fleet have to be in on the final mothership kill?
If an incursion site indicates '5-10 pilots' or something similar, is it better to have 10 pilots or 5 pilots or something in between? Since the harder sites call for larger fleets, if 5 different 10-man fleets show up for the mothership kill, how does that work?
Thanks for the replies so far, but I'd still like to get some more information. |

Look through your in-game journal under the incursions tab for the information your seeking. |

Not really. There is some limited information, but it does not clarify when/how/who exactly gets the reward. I assume you're referring to the Incursion "Encounters" tab. It was sufficiently vague and imprecise that many, many people, myself included, foolishly wasted time soloing the Scout sites. Nor does it specify what exactly consititutes a fleet or answer my other questions about the various permutations. |

It's perfectly logical not to let solo players near the rewards. If you have shelled out, say, 20B to have an uber BS fit you shouldn't have the right to pwn Sanshas all alone. Your ship is there strictly for station spinning.

No one said anything about what was proper, logical, a "right" or whatever. I ran solo in a cheap fit BC in direct competition with as many as 15 other pilots in the site. I'm not *****ing; I just want to know what the formula/explanation is for LP rewards. Got it? Go be hyper opinionated somewhere else. |
