other char corp has war dec, they just a gank corp playing the game the way they play, they told me they will reoprt me and others to ccp and have us locked in the corp if we leave corp to avoide wardec we didnt want... as its not the way we play, its a mission n mining corp, is wardec evasion against ccp rules?

You can leave a corp to avoid a war dec no problem, leave an alt as ceo so the corp does not close, join NPC corp and carry on missioning with your friends, make an ingame chat channel so you can all keep in touch.
It is not an exploit, this is just bandied around by grief corps looking for easy mode PVP.

You can leave corp anytime you want. Just join the npc corp, and create a private chat channel for your corpies for the duration of the wardec. You leave corp, they technically win. I have never heard of CCP locking anyone into a corp.
If you aren't sure - try petitioning the gm's asking for clarification.

Can I get the name of the offending corp? I have the urge to be threatened to be reported to the FBI for cyberterrorism again.
Thank you in advance. ***** ***** ***** *****

If it's a "griefer" corporation, I might be willing to do it for free. Lord knows I love the hate mail I get form "happy" clients (that are on the other side of my guns). ***** ***** ***** *****

High sec pvp and wardecs are major part of EVE game play, if you get wardeced it may prevent you doing missions or mining, but usually those wars last only 1 week or so, so why not try something different on that week, go to check out low sec or 0.0 with cheap ship and clone. Most important thing , skills keep running during wardec too so no big deal.
It is good to learn how to do stuff while in war, there is lot of things that you can do.
Personally i have been in war last 3 years and i have managed to make lot of isk, so i do not see that wardecs prevent you to play EVE, you just have to rethink how to do things to lower risks to lose too much compared to earnings. Higher income allows higher risks, mining in highsec is not so good income that allows lot of losses.

Wait... I do remember that post about cyber-terrorism. One of the best laughs I'd had in a while.

This is your best option. Leave 1 alt in to hold your corp as a ceo and then let everyone drop to an NPC corp. You will be able to fly right by their station camp and laugh at their emorage. Ah, nothing more amusing then trolling a griefer corp....

HAHAHA scare tactics...they had you fooled for a while. Smart pirats Greif those sons a b!tches Most of the things you do 'in game' arn't against the rules.
Post their corp name, and we'll see how many war decs they suddenly get!!!

You know, you could train Propulsion Jamming... fit a point to some t1 frigs and cruisers and go and experience EVE for what it truely is. Yeah you'll lose some ships but *gasp* you might learn that there is more to EVE that shooting NPCs.

Edited by: Theodoric Darkwind on 23/04/2011 16:09:16 Easiest way if you dont feel like fighting them or station spinning is to make an alt CEO and have everyone drop corp for the duration of the war, then all your mining, missions, etc are unaffected.
There is no rule against dropping corp to evade wardecs.

Grief a griefer today! Have many alternate corporations at your disposal, bounce between all of them when needed. Watch them waste the dec and money.

Well, you could simply remain docked for a week until the war dec was over.
There is no rule about dropping your corp to avoid a war dec.
This might be a good time to start developing your other two alts, if you haven't already. It's good to have a fighter/ defender, a miner/ manufacturer, and a trader/ hauler. Leave the trader/ hauler in the NPC corporation so (s)he can never be war decced. It takes about three days to train a hauler and they are pretty much essential to have.
Oh, and also. Try to avoid calling your corporation something like "Missions and MIning, Inc.' Pirates look for these sorts of corporations to war dec them.

I believe its classed as an exploit if you dissolve the corp to avoid the dec, leaving corp and putting an alt CEO in place is completely different and perfectly viable.

You can train a Bestower pilot that can use T2 cargo extenders in about 8 hours, think you can do a mammoth pilot in about 3 days, takes about 3 weeks for an iteron 5 pilot

If you drop corp, do mining, re-join corp, do corp stuff, then drop again... over and over... you will risk GM intervention. But dropping for the duration is acceptable.
Why hire Mercs? Because Mercs like to have fun too. Also if you want to fight in the war, learn how, you can fleet up with them ( ask if they are willing for you to do that before hiring).

Merc's are often a gamble through. the low level (cheap) ones will easily turn on you if your attacker flips them some isk. there is also the issue of competence. anyone can claim to be a merc so you need to check them out to see out successful they have been in the past.

Spend the entire war dec attacking your attackers with noob ships, and don't fly any other ship during the dec period. Then their killboard will fill up with lot of 1 point kills and rest of community can point and lol at them.

I once flew in a fleet of 30 rookie ships and we killed a Broadsword. His "friends" ran away, and he tried to self-destruct, but we got him.
