T2 Carriers and Dreads that have 1/2 or 1/3 the HP buffer of their T1 counterparts Can use covert cynos Can generate covert cynos Can use non-covops cloak without penalties Can ignore cyno jammers (or use stargates)
--- Titans or dreads that can generate warp bubbles, like HICs (with more severe penalties) --- Titans or dreads that can project other kinds of AoE EW effects (either around them, or at a target), such as tracking disruping, target painting, webbing, MWD cancellation --- Subcapital ships that can disable a certain number of POS guns/arrays while close enough to the POS; These ships should not get targeted by POS guns automatically, only by players manning the guns --- Covops ships whose pilots don't show up in local --- Directional-scanner jammers --- Mining barges with huge cargo but fewer strip miners (for the lazy AFK miner) --- Freighters that can pick up/drop off cargo in space --- AoE cloak generators --- Capital mining ship (One that actually does the mining, not one that sits in a POS all day)

Perhaps allowing them to enter a system cloaked and remain out of local until the first de-cloak? Or along a similar vein, have a module on a dedicated scout/cyno ship that keeps them out of local permanently but totally swamps their ships cpu (so they can only fit minimal tank/gank). The idea being that your scout jumps into system, locates target and warps to a safe spot, drops its cyno and the rest of the team slips into the system cloaked. After their first de-cloaking and attack, their visible in local until they leave. This would align with the whole 'silent running/maintain comms silence' concept of the class.

Instead of a dedicated gas ship (or perhaps in addition to it?), I'd like to see a T3 industrial. The offensive subsystems could provide bonuses for gas harvesting, analysing, codebreaking, regular mining and, perhaps, cargo capacity.

I've not made it as far as playing with cap ships, but this sounds like a good idea given all the comments about the proliferation of supercaps.

How about anti-capital Frigates, then.
Their sole purpose is to carry a single torpedo with a massive payload. Much like how one torpedo from a small submarine can sink a giant warship in RL.
Course in RL you don't see military commanders screaming about things not being fair.

Well, that would be the natural progression of technology. It's not exactly rocket science either, but for some reason, getting new tech created in Eve requires discovering a bunch of galactic mysteries and fighting weird NPCs. You'd think some Minmatar would have already thought of slapping a souped up Doom torpedo to a Rifter.

i would like to see a few things
Medium and Large Tractor beams plus tractor beam rigs for range and speed.
A Anti Cloak Mod of sometype, maybe for use on a science ship.
A Ship that's kind of like a shuttle or cepter that has a jump drive, and allows you to jump up to 25ly's in highsec. It requires a new type of cyno and is somewhat pricey to jump but at least it wouldn't take you all day to cross empire. It would also have no more then like 10m3 cargo so you couldn't take much stuff with you.
I would like to see interbus get working so you could transport items from 1 station to another, it should be cheap for using to transport goods around a region but if you try and send stuff from 1 region to another or if it has to cross multiple regions to get to yours it would be way more expensive. That would help stop alliances from abusing it to move a whole war machine from home to someones door step. it should have like a 100,000m3 capacity for moves within a region and 25,000m3 for moves from 1 region to another.
a dedicated cyno ship that costs a good amount i think 50mill is fair, has a decent cargohold and its bonus allows it to turn the cyno off after 2 minutes or so, Make it burn loads more fuel for your ability to shut it down, say like 4-6k Liquid ozone.

troop transport (basically i got your ship locked down i send in the marines to take it over... you end up in a pod i get your ship with all its mods)

I second the whole "Rework the unused / unbalanced T1 ships"
While I understand that T1 ships are "training ships and stepping stones to tech 2"
I want to see some new life into....
Omen, celestis (and the whole sensor dampener thing in general), moa, Caracal (Yes I'm beating this dead horse. It should be able to fit a LSE, MWD and a full rack of HM's!!) Maller, bellicose / target paintings efficiency on armor tanked targets compared to shield. Ferox, prophecy, Coercer, cormorant, catalyst, the mixed weapon systems on Merlin and Tristan.
Oh and fixing hybrids, giving black-ops their well needed buff, and for heavens sake nerf the dramiel a bit, its faster then all interceptors, with more buffer then most t1 frigs while doing equal damage to a assaultfrig and 3 light drones. What the heck where CCP smoking when they made that?
Personally while I'm at this rather long rant, autocannons falloff in general is too big.
The only thing left then is for people to make small roaming gangs that actually supplement each other, instead of the current "moar falcons, and more gank" mentality. The tactical element of the game seems to be completely gone. Its all down to having the largest amount of falcons and a good warp-in.
Destroyers - give them a marauder damagebonus and reduce them to 4 guns, to make them more affordable for newer pilots, and tier 2 hulls that somehow does not make the current ones obsolete.
TL;DR
Its not the ships (Except some) its the community's love of falcons.
