My new corporation Iron Griifin is starting in Heimatar and is looking for work! Willing to do any type of mercenary work: asset denial, assasinations, guard duty, sabotage, you name it, we'll do it. Since we're a new corporation, we'll happily work for simply war dec cost! Simply evemail or start a convorsation with Kotehos in game and we can work out a contract!
Fly safe and watch your back! Kotehos

A 7 man Corp, all unknown qualities, except for the CEO who in his own words wasn't involved with PvP before... add to that a apparent limitation to one region of space....
Wow, what an awesome find.
Do yourself a favor, get a Corp KB, run a couple of campaigns (whether self targeted or completely free contracts). After you have racked a history of a couple of War Decs and have Corp kill efficiency of at least 80% come back here and start a new thread. When you do that though make it a professional looking one listing your abilities, the type of work you do, where you'll do it (Empire, High Sec only, Low Sec, Null Sec....), and place a link to your Corp's KB (not Battleclinic, to be taken even remotely serious you'll need your own).
You also might want to set up a "Public Contracts" chat channel in game and have you Corp Leadership stay in it to assist potential employers. After you've established yourself some what you should then contact someone about getting representation in the "official" Merc Contracts chat channel in-game.

Ok, 1st off Gregor, there is no way I'd even venture my services as a merc corp if I didn't know PvP. I have been involved in PvP, simply on another account that I shut down about 6 months ago, and while I was doing PvP I felt no need to track my kills, simply to do it. Secondly, any good merc corp needs good references, not just a killboard, so I am attempting to get both a board going as well as get good recs.
Watch your back, Kotehos
P.S. Happy? P.P.S. And btw someone in a corp called "Steaming Hot Gallente Chicks Gone Wild" isn't exactly very reliable sounding relating to Merc activity >P

Everyone had to start somewhere, didn't they? I'm sure they could come in handy for a small corp that gets ninja-wardec'd by a different small corp. Sometimes the little guys need a little bit of low cost muscle to get over a minor hump, and I'd suspect some graybeard in 0.0 would either cost too much or not be interested in something so minor.
Just thoughts. Good luck to the OP getting things rolling. Don't bite off more than you can chew.

Hmmm, so I come of of lurking retirement to offer some advice, and try every hard to be nice and not smack. Trying to be helpful, and here you come stomping on my one feeling? I may have to go back under my bridge and have a good cry....
Alright let me lay it out a bit. Before I posted I did a little quick research to see who/what was posting, you never know you might have been some sort of hidden PvP talent that would be able to handle yourself and just a terrible poster. A quick EVE Gate look at you and your corp revealed nothing special, and a quick look on Battleclinic and eve-kill revealed even less. All this was done in less than 5 minutes and all completely offline.
I quickly had the sense that here we were dealing with the usual run-of-the-mill newb Merc not really understanding what they were getting themselves into. Not surprising really, we see it all the time here in C&P. So I thought to my self, "self... just ignore it, continue lurking, let them figure it out themselves..." then I thought "come of Self, be nice for once, help them out." And what do I get for this tremendous 5 minute effort? Scorn. So here I am back under my bridge, hugging myself, crying mournfully. I hope your proud of yourself....
Oh and by the way, the lesson you should learn from this is maybe you should spend 5 minutes researching a character before you decide to bash them. And yes I like "Watch your back" much better, it sends just the right mix of guarded concerned and understated threat.
Watch ya back, Gregor
EDIT: damn, had a hard time posting that through my trembling hands and tears....

But we should instead trust our jobs to a CEO and corp that can't spell Griffin?
