Hello Missions & Complexes forum, I am doing missions for a couple of Amarr corporations right now. My standings with the Gallente and Minmatar are plummetting (the Gallente are almost KoS to me).
I don't mind having them hate me but I would rather not get shot at when I pass through their space. What do you do in this situation? Thanks in advance for any help.
Diplomacy IV, btw.

don't shoot Gallente or Minmatar ships. that is, decline missions that require such actions. for extra safety, you might want to decline storylines. tho, only shooting ships will push you under -5.00, at which point you will get shoot at. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

Do some Gallente missions as well. After you complete an amarr storyline mission, move to a gallente agent and run this exclusively until you get that story line, then flip back to your amarr agent and so on.
Gallente missions will give TLC to your Gallente and Minmatar standings, with only a little dent to your amarr that you will hardly notice. It's caldari that the gallente missions will knock down, but if you're also running amarr missions that will self-balance.
And like the man said, reject all missions against the four empire factions.

The first part is correct, the second part is incorrect.
Faction NPC Navy's will attack you when you hit -5.00. That means at -4.99 you can safely travel. At -5.00 and lower, you'll get attacked. Also Faction structure kills will give more negative standing hit than Faction ship kills. Both will give a double negative hit to your standings.
I don't know why people don't like to link this but the Faction Standing Repair Plan can help.

While we are nitpicking...
There is no reason for you to decline storyline missions. Once your base standings have hit -5.0 (which is the relationship between Gallente and Caldari) derived standing modifications from the storyline missions won't take you down further. If you have Diplomacy IV and are nearly KoS then your base standings are already below -5.0.

Do missions for Sisters of EVE. Their storylines raise Gallente and Minmatar, and do not lower Amarr and Cladari very much at all.
This is what I do to keep on good terms with Gallente and Minmatar, as I mostly do Amarr and Caldari missions.
Sisters of EVE loyalty points store items als sell very well.

Diplomacy will help raise negative standings but it's only a short term fix.
