It's happening enough to the point where I have decided just to not get too involved until the situation gets resolved. Is anyone else having this issue?

I play EVE from 2 different physical locations each with their own computers and internet connections and I have been getting the exact same problem at both locations. I used to be able to run 3 accounts on 1 comp without any problems but now it hates running more than 1 account for any length of time (ie upwards of 5 minutes).

I'm running logserver now, but ironically enough; although that's after five 'socket closed' errors trying to connect, and three boot-outs - now that I'm running it, it hasn't crashed.... I am sick and tired of this. It has been happening way before this patch and it keeps happening now. It is always random. There is no pattern to it. Can someone help? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Errrmmmm........you do know where the Eve servers are located and what network they use to connect to the US, don't you? I live about 30 miles from the servers and was having this problem for a few days. Now the network problems have been sorted out, I am no longer disconnecting..... :)

I can speak for myself only here. I am from Germany and i am routed to eveonline.com through telia.net and i guess that may be true for other people from germany which have the same problem. As eveonline.com and TQ both become unreachable for a short amount of time in the event of one of these random disconnects i guess its the same route that my traffic to TQ does. There are also people having disconnects and the tracerts of those stop somewhere at *.telia.net. According to those threads there also seem to be issues with Level3. I couldn't get a tracert from when it happened to me yet because i was busy praying to god that i didn't die due to a disconnect.. I will have it ready the next time (If it isn't fixed yet. I don't like the fact that all the big carriers don't offer news to network problems on their official websites. It is a pain to find any information on such things).

I run a desktop and laptop next to each other and the laptop was crashing my one alt repeatedly while my desktop was steady with my other char. and then I switched chars on the laptop and it stayed steady till I tried the other char again and it would crash every few gates :S. its getting rather annoying not being able to do anything for fear of losing my ships due to a random boot. also location is saskatchewan canada :S I also have downloads during these times that are streaming at 1mb/s and even with pausing those it doesn't change a thing.

There is no message displaying whatsoever, EVE just tends to go "not responding" for five seconds orso, and then i'm on the login.

It has gotten so bad that I cannot stay online longer than 15 minutes without the system start to lag, then resetting to loging screen. GMs have a say, or we all going to have to ride the petition/bug reports wagon?
