Firstly I have no budget so feel free to post any fittings you wish.
It's mainly for low sec/high sec wars. Any fittings are appreciated being frig killers or tackle.

Faction web is good choice if you have isk to spend /50m/, mfs is good too /60m/ and rep is cheap as chips /10m/. T2 rigs are well worth it. You can also get cosmos 200mm plate for good isk if you are running with slaves.
Fitting depends on your style, some ppl even like kiting with rails and faction web, some ppl like to enjoy daredevils facemelting point blank presence. Its up to you.
I suggest neutron gank machine, 450dps overheated.

If PG is short can the damage control not be changed with an Aux?

You want to keep the damage control on all gallente pvp boats.
I think i'll just throw some CCC rigs and an armor rig on it to help the repper when fighting other frigs.

You might want to try scrapheap-challenge or something such aswell to get some perspective. Sorry to say the vast majority of setups on battleclinic are utter crap, it's not just the interface that's bad. =( Parrots, commence!

Is what I've been using recently as an alternative to Dramiel / Crusader. The rails have 11+11km range with antimatter which goes nicely with the 14km (overheated 18.2km) web. Worst thing I can say about it is that most people just won't engage you, 2nd worst thing is that not blundering into normal web/scram range while also not letting your opponent out of the web can be hard at the start of the fight.
Could save about 50mil by dropping the faction MFS for T2 and using a named damage control to make up the CPU; honestly I don't think the slight extra resists or the extra 3 DPS is critical to the fit. Has performed well against opponents so far (when engagements actually happen) and in testing against corp mates I haven't yet found a frigate that worries me. Excellent ship. ________________

That fit is viable aswell. Did you used a hybrid ROF rig with those neutron blasters? If not, the dps difference is insanely small. And ions track alot better then neutrons. tough you might say 90 % web so why need more tracking speed? Well, that's just personal experience and opinion.
Either way, neutron blasters with that fit are great aswell.
And my english grammar sucks

I think it was acr, burst and explosive rig.
More tracking can be useful if you want to mitigate some damage with orbiting, but vs cruisers it doesnt matter and most "good" frigs can track better than you anyway. Also generally only frigs with t2 kin/th resist profile can take beating from dd for long enough to be serious threat, so you usually "keep at range" to maximize gank and gtfo.

I kited an ion fit DD recently in a railranis, the extra range from neutrons (ambit rigs help too) can really help the ship. Of course it's all personal. I prefer a bit more dps/falloff on my Daredevils. Only problem with the DD is I get into quite a few fights where I have to disengage and GTFO before support lands, heh.

whil the drem is popular and touted as being imba (it is), th daredevil is actually the most amazing gank ship out there in its class. . .
I can dig up some fittings for you in time. . . -----------

while there are many things you can do with a DD, the only 2 weapons it's worth to fit in it is either neutrons or 150mm rails, together with the obligatory fed navy web.
I use this cheap setup in gangs where I can double both as tackler and space superiority.
Quote: [Daredevil, cheap-ass fit]
2x Light Neutron Blaster II (Federation Navy Antimatter Charge S)
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters Federation Navy Stasis Webifier Warp Disruptor II
Damage Control II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II 2x Coreli C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating
2x Small Auxiliary Thrusters I Small Hybrid Metastasis Adjuster I
good speed, some 5k EHP and still some space in terms of fitting to fiddle about. ---

I heard dds with fn webs are trivial to kite.

Edited by: Fasire on 09/02/2011 09:32:22 So it's MWD over the AB? Is less tank worth it?
[Daredevil] Damage Controll II Centii C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating Centii C-Type Small Armor Repairer Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Gistii B-Type 1MN Afterburner Federation Navy Stasis Webifier Domination Warp Scrambler
Light Neutron Blaster II, Null Light Neutron Blaster II, Null Small Diminishing Power System
Small Anc Router Small Anc Router Hybrid Ambit
This is my current build. I'm having PG issues even with the 3% implant so I had to fit the two Anc routers to fit it all. I have all of the PG support skills but I'm still having issues.

He doesn't need to kite. Harpy has an excellent shield buffer, coupled with the fact that the 2 highest resists are kinetic and thermal. I like Pie! |

I heard staying outside range with a faction WD is oh so very hard when dealing with slow ass ships.
Granted a faction WD on a Harpy is overkill, but overloading it is not hard either.
Besides it does not need to be trivial if you know how to use your ships , but hey, if you like killing noobs an ratters, be my guest. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
