How about, CCP provide for anyone who is Neg standing to a faction they can purchase "Faction Pardon Certificates"
These would be similar to the Starbase charters, and would allow a person with negative standing/negative sec status access to high sec areas until their certificates expire, - so you could buy some certs, and fly through high sec with no aggro from gates/navy/concord allowing those of us who accidentally podded 4 people in low sec to travel back into high sec to get some of their stuff or go back up and do some missions etc to gain standing again....

So what you're saying is that you want to allow pirates on a lulz rush the abililty to buy their way into hi-sec, fly around in cheap ships and blow away starter ships for the pure tear factor?
This both disgusts and intrigues me.

Interesting idea, but out of the two examples you give you can easily solve one with either an alt (which you should have) or a trusted friend, to ferry your stuff out to where you can go.

I was always fond of the idea of people able to bribe CONCORD to look the other way for a day or two. Obviously the bribe gets revoked and the price for future bribes skyrockets if you act a fool in high sec.
I mean come on, they're cops -- a bribery mechanism is just realism.

Why not? It's better than gaming the system with alts.

They would have to be insanely expensive to match inflation in game.
Everyone and their mother could easily fund excursions into highsec at -5 or less at this point if you made it as cheap as starbase charters...and continue to dwell there indefinitely with impunity, thereby negating any negative effect of being flashy red...
On second though, just a bad idea overall with the existence of GTCs and plex.

Could work as long as the increase is proportional to the reciprocal of an exponent of the characters skill points. Only fair that bigger boys pay more/ ---- I belong to Silent Ninja (Hopefully that should cover it). |

No, furthermore you should only get sec gain boosts from low sec (and not null sec either), give people a reason to want to go there. Should help sort out some of those high-sec suicide gank cowards. ~~~
