Gas mining worth it? Just moved into a class 2 WH and haven't really done any gas mining before. Haven't really found any information about gas mining in a class 2. We currently have 5 ladar sites in our WH and was just wondering if we should just let them pop or actually do them.

2 ways you can deal with them: 1. If it is not an Ordinary Perimeter Reservoir, I warp to 0 bm the good clouds and warp back to POS and grab something to drink. I then warp back later with a BC and shoot all the spawns, then come back with a salvager to salvage. 2. Now if you can harvest gas you can, you have 3 days to finish up the clouds now. I tend to take only the expensive stuff as I don't react.

It doesn't take much time to harvest both clouds. The rats are delayed appearance and not difficult. I grab every cloud because... they are worth something. Some gases/reactions are more valuable than others.
The last I tried, and I'm trying another now, if you don't pop the clouds they will respawn once.

Thanks for the replies.
Yeah I made a spreadsheet with the approx value of each Ladar site. Original plan was just to cherry pick the sites. I thought about just mining all of the gas and doing some reactions and selling the reactions.

Basically these are worth mining: c32 c50 c28 c72
These aren't (you're literally better off mining in high sec) but they don't generally take all that long and you do get to get rid of the annoying scan probe hit: c60 c70 c84
So in terms of sites, these are at least partially good: Barren Perimeter c50 Bountiful Frontier c28/c32 Minor Perimeter c72 Ordinary Perimeter c72 Sizeable Perimeter c50 Vast Frontier c28/c32
And this isn't: Token Perimeter
